Most people who want to get involved with internet marketing usually enter the scene as an affiliate marketer. The only time this isn’t the case is when a person is trying to take their offline business and bring online. Most people who want to work from home on their computer are usually affiliates.
There are thousands of different affiliate products that are on the internet. The reason why I love Internet Network Marketing is because network marketing has the ability to create residual income. The difference is instead of getting paid 1 time for your efforts you can get paid over and over. If you ask me that is a much better return on your time and money. Everyone is running after Google while there is a silent revolution taking place in the underbelly of search. Bing is slowly gaining search space eating into the Google pie. According to the latest research, Bing has gained 3% share of the search market and  currently consists of 30% overall. SEO strategies are exponentially becoming susceptible to having to change in shorter and shorter time periods as time goes on. There used to be a time when you were able to apply SEO tactics for a stretch of 3-4 years, and then 2-3 years, and so on and so forth. With the ever innovating changes of the search engines, like the recent algorithm update called “Panda,” and the hardcore integration of social media, providing the absolute best value on your website is what you should aim for when creating a website – letting all the other off-site SEO stuff come naturally. Often what’s going to make your business pop to potential customers especially if it’s a service is where you are in relation to them. Second on the list is what your customers find out about you when they search for your service on Google and other search engines. It makes sense then to not neglect the former in pursuit of the latter, and vice versa.
Indeed sometimes capturing the most interesting and detailed dynamics of your geographical region and integrating these facets into your search optimization strategy is the easiest way to cleverly make connections with customers. Discovering all the possibilities your location and the kinds of lives led therein has to offer is actually kind of fun. You might create the problem of getting too distracted!
Though anything to do with marketing yourself online is hardly time wasted. One of the ways in which I often see businesses promoting themselves effectively online with local influence is by making mention of the local sports teams. It can be college, professional, or even the local little league. Establishing a dictated connection to local athletics is a great way to garner your own fan base for your service.
You can even get sophisticated here: for example Miami attorneys might anticipate some brawls to break out in the local bars after an upcoming weekend series against Cleveland. Advertising on local ticket outlet websites and sports news sites, with a sly stab at the potential for mayhem, might net these lawyers some business from fans that happen to be in need of legal counsel or even a few out-of-town clients. Don’t neglect advertising avenues that allow you to speak directly to potential customers, however indirect the speech itself might be. For instance a Denver-based real estate company might try writing a blog about what’s causing prices to drop near Colorado slopes on a website for Kentucky snowboarding, where the snow is seasonal. Simply mixing phrases popular to your area in with your company name, no matter how unrelated they might seem to your service, could mean big results. Instead of describing your business as “California’s best donut shop” try saying “Where rich and famous celebrities come to feast on classic California donuts.”
That way you netted the words “celebrities” and “California” which mean big in a string, especially with a word like “donuts” that can separate you from the pack. Take the time to really get to know your town. It’s not so much the art of connecting to your customers as much as it is letting them know you’re connected to the community. People really like that kind of thing. Try not to get too distracted, but then again if you can’t help but get inspired by what’s around you to further connectivity to your online presence, there’s no better waste of time.

If the alchemists from the middle ages saw what’s going on in the Internet Marketing space today, that is exactly what they’d have to say:
“Oh for crying out loud.. What were we thinking when we were hard at work trying to come up with a formula to turn lead into gold… These Internet Marketing “guru” guys are way ahead of us – they’re turning thin air into “money making magic bullets” – what on earth were we thinking…”
Visiting the e-business/ internet marketing section of the ClickBank Marketplace these days is like being face to face with a Goliath of a stand-up comedian.
Internet Marketing “profit sucker system” – “profit hijacker super duper system” – and lots more..
I mean for crying out loud.. Who are the fools for copywriters who even agree to write copy for these fools?
How many of you regularly use Twitter as part of your overall Internet Marketing strategy?
Twitter has taken a lot of heat in recent months as “not being too great for business”, because apparently there are too many spammy users on Twitter now who are using it as a tool for spammy Internet Marketing practices.
Well, as is the case with any business model, if you want to make good use of Twitter, you’re going to have to put in a little more effort than simply looking for followers and building large lists of followers right, left and centre, a practice that 8 out of 10 people are following today, atleast those who think that having a large list of Twitter followers works wonders on any Internet Marketing strategy.
There’s only one way you can do that in this competitive, yet scammer filled world of Internet Marketing, and that’s through PPC.
But how does an Internet Marketing person beat the Google Police?
Advertising Policies have become so strict at Google that promoting an Internet Marketing product or free offer has become fairly difficult.
It’s only difficult if you haven’t done your homework, and doing your homework is everything in the Internet Marketing world, is everything 😉
Here’s what you can do to work on building a 2,000+ list of email leads from scratch.
Sometimes I think the whole world is oblivious to real, actionable internet marketing strategies.. Why does everyone consider PPC Advertising a plague of sorts? 😉
I thought I’d take some time out today to propose at least 5 reasons why Internet Marketing has become such a stagnated industry for 99.99% of people who enter it, and it’s got almost everything to do with NOT wanting to invest in one’s online business.
For simplicity’s sake, and to prevent my ever-distracted self from going off on a tangent, I’m going to keep this post about PPC Advertising and not deviate from it (for now, I’ll write more on other subjects in later posts)
