Driving Twitter Traffic Directly To A Sales Page Is A Waste of Time – Internet Marketing

I am often left quite baffled by the amount of money left on the table by most in Internet Marketing, promoting anything on Twitter.

The number of times I’ve seen shortened links taking me straight to a sales page is horrendously large.. What are these guys thinking?

That a 140 character tweet will somehow sell a product for them without any other pre-sell measures put in place?

I conducted a case-study for this very fact in my last post here, check it out first if youre interested.

It isn’t that easy in the real world I am afraid, and the harsh reality of it all is that none of these Internet Marketing guru guys are able to convert even 1% of that traffic into sales on the spot.

Most of them just make you think they are, so they can get you into their bidding for future launches

I agree with all you said ,making a direct traffic page is useless.the main thing we have to do is to trace some customers which are interested in your product or offer than drop all such customers to this list than its will be useful ,a full traffic page can,t helps us

What a brilliant post. You should do a series! I did a sort of blogging for dummies over on one of the craft forums and I thought it was too simple for them, but the amount of emails I got asking questions just like what you addressed was unbelievable. As young people today we have grown up with computers, but it’s easy to forget that even people just a few years older have not! Really good post!
