I get several emails every day from people I’ve met at seminars, or who’ve found me on Facebook or Twitter, people who are new to Internet Marketing and only looking at it with awe-stricken eyes and nothing more,
It’s almost as if someone’s deliberately put them in some kind of trance to make them believe that the Internet Marketer’s life is what it’s all about, like it’s an easy trade, like it’s really just down to sitting down over your computer every day and work for a few minutes..
It’s so sad to see these people enter the Internet Marketing industry with this mindset.
None of that is true. The life of an Internet Marketer is a constantly evolving place, new things to learn every day, new ways to keep up with the competition, new niche markets to explore and tap into, new products to brainstorm, new updates to work on for existing products..
The Internet Marketing world is a very challenging, very very tiring place, I’ll tell you that 😉
I’m not judging, but have you ever thought about getting into Internet Marketing because for some god-forsaken reason you think it’s the easy way out?
I promise I won’t judge, I’d actually like to sit you down for a cup of coffee and talk some sense into you if that is the case, seriously, no jokes here 🙂
The key to being successful in this industry is to first inspire yourself to push yourself to the absolute limit, because that is exactly what you will end up doing when you dive properly into this whirlpool of challenges and rewards. Don’t get me wrong, it is a very rewarding place if you structure your approach to it right, but if you don’t follow a plan, don’t work hard, think it’s all that and so easy to do, you will undoubtedly find yourself sitting with your head between your knees wondering what you should do next, eventually get sick of it all and go find yourself a day-job (which is NOT AT ALL A BAD THING)
Most of these “guru” chaps make you believe day jobs are evil – they are not, they are like any other job, like Internet Marketing is a job, a job that will take you from your day job’s 9 to 5 routine to a 9am to 5am routine..
Internet Marketing is a tough practice, and to ever get anywhere in this industry, you must first “inspire” yourself into working much harder than you’ve ever worked before. This industry comes with its rewards, but it comes with a massive surge in hard work and constant learning.
Inspire yourself to learn more, to seek out within yourself, the urge to succeed, by hook or by crook ( that does not mean you start scamming people btw 😉 – it implies that you will go to great “ethical” lengths )
Inspire yourself to engage in challenges where you know nothing about what you’re up against, yet you want to sit down and learn everything there is that needs to be learnt, for you to challenge those challenges back.
Inspire yourself to win, no matter what.
Inspire yourself to face failure with gratitude, learn from it, swallow the pain, and move on.
Inspire yourself to take those 9 out of 10 failed products that you WILL UNDOUBTEDLY build, and turn what you’ve learnt from them into that one amazing product that will turn into your long-term online business offering you continuity forever.
Inspire yourself.
Just.. Inspire yourself.
And see what the tide brings in 🙂

I think internet marketing is the easy way out but that is just cause I don’t deal well with real jobs, it’s easy to not have a boss, set schedule, or have to leave the house. But it does require a great deal of hard work, I work far more than the typical 40 hour work week. Inspire is the word of the day and your right I must constantly inspire myself to recreate myself and keep up with the times. Thanks for the article.
Yes I think you said it almost perfectly as far as it is a lot of work involved. I myself was one who thought that it was some magical place where I could get by with just a few clicks of mouse. Then I woke up and realized I was Going to have to put in all the hard work first, and then if I catch a break it will all payoff. But I know it will take some time.
Fully agree with you , its the toughest job because no one is handling you, one have to prove itself by his abilities …thanks for changing the minds for wrong thinkers
Hey, Ali! I couldn’t agree with you more. Making money on the Internet doesn’t happen overnight, which lots of people keep thinking.
When I was 16 years old — I entered the world of IM. It took me almost two years to make my first $100K. But it was totally worth it as I hadn’t even graduated from high school yet.
IM is just like everything else in life — you’ve got to work hard in order to succeed. It’s as simple as that 🙂

You are right Ali! In order to succeed in life, you really need to be positive and give it your 100% EFFORT and DEDICATION. Internet Marketing can give us big bucks but you have to give it your best shot. I’m new in internet marketing and I have really learned a lot from your post. Thanks for sharing and hope I can be like you someday. If I have enough money to purchase PPC, I will use it immediately.God bless you.
I think taht success has to inspire, maybe not your own success, but other people’s success.
Hey Ali, I cannot still believe that a lot of products out there still tell people that they will be able to make money easily on the internet just by clicking a few buttons.
I mean even that in today’s world we have great tools to use as marketers, we still need to work hard to reach the top of the mountain.
It is sad yes, but still a lot of the so called marketers used those bad lying techniques to cheat the newbies out there.
I do inspire myself with other blog and with other real stories that keep my hopes high and keep me working until the end.
Great blog post.
Exactly! Many people fail to realize that internet marketing is JUST like any other job or business (if not more tiresome). The sooner they realize this and start treating it that way (like a job or business) they’ll start to see more progress instead of zero sales in their clickbank account or pennies and dimes in their adsense account.
I could not have said it better myself.
When I used to treat IM as something unimportant, it didn’t really go well. But once I gave it focus it went really, really well 🙂
As for it being tiresome, I don’t necessarily agree. A passive income is great at times 😀
Woila! I agree with you. Your post is inspiering me. There is a lot of god tip behind this. Making online money is nothing that comes fast or like that. No one is going to speed foon anyone else.
When I entered the affiliate world, I made 150$ the first year, all together. I know its not that much, but I know if I could work harder, I would get more. Now I have much more than 150$ a year!
