While the success rate in the Internet Network Marketing is a scary 5% to 10% this means that the majority of the people fail at doing this.

I certainly can understand why, especially considering that there are experts popping up everyday.

The problem is that many of these so called internet network marketing experts aren’t really experts.  It’s more like monkey see monkey do…

While you should duplicate processes that you are taught. It is still best to be an individual and not someone’s clone that is just tacky.

Internet Network Marketing – Party Foul!

For those of you who are not hip with my 90’s lingo :) party foul means, bad form, ruining a good time and any any other usage that means You F-ed up….

While I am sure if you are reading this blog you already know how important blogging is to your internet network marketing business. But what you may not be privy to is the fact that blogging requires an entirely different approach than traditional marketing.

Traditional marketing focuses on lead capture page conversions, paid advertising such as pay per click. Where as blogging is all about reaching out sharing good information and networking with like minded people.

For example: Commenting, both giving comments and receiving comments.  In theory the idea that you can join a tribe and get people to comment on your blog doesn’t work. Leaving comments on other peoples blog don’t work that well either. Good internet network marketing involved sharing the love.

That’s not what happens though, the reason why is because:

People are selfish and greedy and think like Daffy Duck!

[Yes I have shown this video multiple times on this blog, almost daily someone reminds me of Daffy Duck!]

It has been my experience that people are just rude, selfish, greedy and ignorant and many of them think their shit doesn’t stink. The reality is though they have scarcity mentality. Party Foul !

Another Example: What really annoys me is when people try to justify a business model based on how much money you can make from the business. Do they realize that 99.9% of all business compensation models can make you a lot of money?  This is another case of selling the sizzle, but not the steak. BIG PARTY FOUL!!!

Internet Network Marketing Take Home Message

Lot’s of folks say lots of things. Many things that I read from other bloggers who use network marketing blogs is utter nonsense often because they themselves got the wrong information. I believe this is due to the fact that many people like buying into hype. The more hype around something the more the person wants to believe it’s true. A good internet network marketing sponsor is very rare indeed.

By far the #1 dirtiest ugliest party foul of them all is being greedy. These people only care about themselves and what’s in it for them.  Folks who don’t know any better join these people’s businesses and get sucked into the whirlwind of  deceit.

I would like your point of view?

Do you think it is to hard to make money in the internet network marketing industry? What’s the biggest obstacle you are facing? Have you had any experiences with bad sponsors?

I would really love your feedback, it helps me write better for you :)

Hey Larry, thanks for keeping it real. That Daffy Duck video gave me a good chuckle. I think making money in this industry can be simple but not necessarily easy.

For myself, the biggest obstacle has been mindset. Having skills is one thing, applying them on a consistent basis is quite another. Now I am just lettin’ loose and letting the chips fall where they may 😉

Again, thanks for telling it like it is!

    Hi Larry
Yeah, I totally agree with Randy, making money in this industry could be simple, but far from easey. But then, what is easey nowdays?

Well, I’d like to think that it becomes easey when we are doing things we are passionat about, it becomes our life style, something we enjoy and look forward doing, even through the obstacles, it’s a challange we meet and cope with.

Thank you for keeping it real, and also thank you for sharing and leading the way for us newbies, clearly pointing out what we should be aware of.

I must say my personal experience with a sponsor has been great maybe not so much for him, as I can, if you believe this, a real pain in the ass.

And yes I’ve witnessed these party fowls(Hehehe). People just don’t get it and we can only hope they come around in the end.

Personally I look at my own actions and ask would I be OK with my children witnessing my behavior or doing it themselves.

      True dat buddy

A lot of people really don’t realize exactly what is going on behind closed doors. I feel it’s our job to educate them on the reality of things.. Thanks for the comment..

    Hey Larry,

I just happened upon this article and I really liked what I read. That are so many people, “gurus,” who claim to know everything, but rarely teach anything but to tell you the cost of their latest product. Seems like nobody really want to teach anymore for fear that someone else will “take” what they have. It’s like they say, “okay, I’ll tell you ‘kinda’ how you do it.”

I feel your authenticity coming thru in this post and that’s refreshing.

    • Larry Rivera says

      Thanks Lynn,

I know exactly what you mean. Sometimes though people don’t want the truth, often because the truth is more uncomfortable than fantasy…

Thanks again for stopping by and sharing your thoughts!

Talking about me I feel that making money is simple and easy too in this field but only after when you have accurate and complete knowledge about what you are going to do and you have full focused mind with all positive mindset and ability to work hard and continuous in any circumstances.

Thus these all things which I have mentioned is hard and tough not making money.

    • Larry Rivera says

Exactly, once you understand how the internet network marketing niche works the easier it becomes to make money within the industry.

  6. says

Internet network marketing industry is quite simple and easy, but due to some people, their mentality is all about ”me, mine and myself” and they’ll do everything by all means. Its so sad, but we cant deny the truth.

    • Larry Rivera says

I am not sure why so many people have the all about me mentality. But sure enough many of them do. And you are correct we can not deny the truth :)

      Thanks for commenting!

  7. Brian says

When it comes to network marketing it is up to us what strategy we must apply to succeed. Gathering knowledge and skills is essential so I am grateful for the advices of many experts. I don’t expect them to share everything or even provide accurate info but I can always get some ideas and have a clearer view of what I should do.

  8. Helen says

I find it easy to spot a greedy person when it comes to network marketing. Marketers should make it a habit to give first. Not only will this help build relationship and trust, it can also improve character and perception towards work.

  9. Mike Colly says

I agree with your thoughts, you do a good job. Thanks for the sharing. Internet network marketing industry is quite simple and easy, but due to some people, their mentality is all about ”me, mine and myself” and they’ll do everything by all means
