Is This A Better Way To Write In Your Internet Network Marketing blog?

Recently I visited a blog and the post had an mp3 player on it. I clicked it and started listening and realized that the writer cleverly transcribed the post to audio. I thought that was a good idea, so here I am writing this post. I believe that in order to build a good internet network marketing blog you have to use every tool at your disposal to engage your readers. Adding extra elements to your post really helps your post stand out.
Internet Network Marketing – Repurpose Your Content
By now I hope you realize just how important blogging is to building your brand and authority online. You will get more bang for your buck if you learn how to repurpose your content. That means taking something you wrote and turning into articles, video,mp3,pdf’s, you get the idea.. Or the other way around, take your videos and turn them into articles etc…
You can turn around and take your blog post and turn them into newsletters or e-reports to build your list.
I highly recommend that you get into the practice of repurposing your content.
Internet Network Marketing – Here Is Where I need Your Help
With all that said I really could use some feedback from you. Yes you the person reading this or listening right now
- Did you just listen to the audio?
- Did you listen and read the post?
- Did you just read the post?
One last question
Would you like to see more post with audio?

One way I like to re-purpose my content is to select a category-specific grouping of articles from my blog and turn them into an e-book that I can give away as a opt-in gift.
This is really easy for Wordpress users if you use the PDF Creation Station plugin for Wordpress.
I love it (no affiliation)

Hey Larry, I like bloggers that offer their post in writing and in audio at the same time. Sometimes I’m not in the mood to read and would like to just listen. I listened to the audio but didn’t read the post (giving you feedback). However, writing is still important and should always be provided.

Repurposing content is a great way to reach a wider audience across a broader spectrum of media because now people have a choice of how they wish to consume your information in a way that suits their needs best. But going beyond repurposing to other avenues of using media and offering special content, say, just for the people who watch our videos, etc. is also extremely powerful.
I admit, I’m, still one who only reads blog posts. I’m not one for video or audio just yet; my life is so jam-packed right now that trying to keep the house quiet long enough to enjoy a video or mp3 doesn’t really work too well.

Hi Delena, putting together “special content” for your subscribers is always appreciated.
I have the same problem sometimes. My house can be very loud.

Hey Larry, I actually listened to your post as I read it. Sure was nice listening to your voice. You read it very well. This would be great for the visually impaired person, the only problem being they can’t see what to click on to make it work.
An autopsy feature would be nice but then having it come on automatically may upset others. Sure makes it hard knowing you can’t please everyone.

You said it buddy!
It is very difficult to please everyone. I think they have some products for the visually impaired that helps them with reading sites.

Thanks for the feedback Sire!
Creating audio files to go along with your blog is a great idea. It can especially be helful with writers who are trying to get their poetry out there, particularly slam poetry which works best when it’s heard and not read. While I wouldn’t put the same content in audio form AND written form, using audio as an aid or to provide and example of something you’re explaining could be very useful.

I agree with that. It adds another element to their art.
Hi Larry,
I listened to the audio while reading your post. The only website I’ve visited with something similar is an English tutorial site where visitors can have a choice of watching the video or listening to an mp3 audio while reading the same content.
This site has thousands of followers and I agree that the idea of re-purposing your content may just have something to it. It wouldn’t hurt to explore other ways and as you said it would be a good idea to use every tool to engage your readers.

I confess, I just read it. I don’t enjoy audio as much but if I need to learn something I prefer watching it on video. I haven’t re-purposed my content like I should although I know this is important. Okay, I’m getting there slowly but surely.
I have to realize that what I may like doesn’t particularly mean others will as well. I may not be my perfect targeted audience and I have to think about what they want too. I need to continue to learn from this so thank you for that reminder Larry. Now, take action Adrienne.

I think we all are guilty of it a little bit. Thank you for sharing your thoughts.

As per me BOTH is perfect.
Coz there are many folks who hates reading so for them Audio is great.
Likewise there are many who likes reading then also they are going to listen audio to make it more clear.
And last folks like me wants BOTH. First they listen is carefully and what they not understand by Audio they make it cristal clear by Reading.
So finally BOTH is preferable.

Thanks, for the feedback!..
I agree, audio is a better alternative for those who do not like to read lengthy information or spare some time to sit down and watch a video. You always have something new to offer your readers, Larry and I’m inspired by how involved you are in Internet Network Marketing. Keep it up!

Hi George thanks for the feedback and the support!
I only read the article:D
Personally I like reading something that listen to it. I can read faster, so I get the information in less time.
But I think it’s a good idea to have that player too, because it doesn’t seem uncomfortable and there might be people who prefer listening to it (maybe they are driving and they can’t read)
Anyway it’s always better to have more ways of communicating with your audience.

Thanks for the feedback John.
I also only read the article, but there are many times when I would appreciate having the audio too.
And thanks so much for nudge to repurpose my content. I have oodles of videos that with a transcript and a little editing would make really useful articles and you’ve given me the prod I need to get moving on that.

Hey, Larry! I’m a visual person and prefer to read usually. However, I noticed that after click-ing “play” I was just curious to keep listening till the end.
So my assumption is that this is a good “attention grabbing” tool to make people stay more on the page

Hi Alison ,
Thanks for the feedback.
the addition of audio gives you more benefit than writing big post because it brings an interest for readers.

I read articles, because I have a very slow internet connection. Hope this will be fixed soon!
Thanks pushing us for re purposing our content. Problem is English is not my mother language, this is hard..hehe!
Hopefully I can practice my tongue to have an accent like an american so I can talk like you.

HI Sanji, thanks for the feedback.
I like having a variety—keeps my interest piqued. However, I did just read your post and did not listen to it. Part of that is because I am not in an environment at the moment where I can have the speakers on nor do I own a pair of ear buds (sometimes I borrow for my son). This may sound too “psycho-analyzed”, but I think the new generation coming up thrives on the multiple tools—their attention span dwindles quickly. So those of us who might be a little older may have to adapt to meet them where they are.

Hi Jason, I agree with you the new generation have short attention spans.
I just read the post. I almost never listen to audio or watch video on a web page. What is even more annoying to me is when web sites force their users to watch videos or listen to audio.
Hi Larry this is a nice idea. After reading your post I decided to create videos of every page on my site best-inexpensive-web-hosting.com When I look at my statistics I can see more visitors staying longer on my website!
I listened to the audio, and at the same time read it as you were speaking. I really liked that, and hope you are able to do this in the future! On a side note, I felt like the audio level was a little bit low, I had to turn up my speakers to hear you better. I had music playing before, so the difference in audibility between the music and yours was quite significant to me.

Love this idea, in fact there are many times when a video comes up and I really want to just read a quick transcription or summary. So in the future I plan to incorporate this re-purposing idea into much more of my online content, thanks for the tip!

I think this is a great idea, as long as you give people the option of turning it off if they don’t want it. I hate sites that auto play sound and you have no way of stopping it.
