Getting through the grind in your business can be at tricky task. There are so many obstacles that face a newbie. When I joined Empower Network in 2011 I really didn’t have much money to promote with. My list wasn’t very big, I just knew a ton of online marketing tricks to siphon traffic off the internet besides blogging. I wasn’t a newbie, rather I was more like a flunky…
Why You Will Have To Grind In Your Business
It sorta cracks me up when I hear people promote their “businesses” and they talk about how “easy” it is to make money online. I will be the first one to say that if you work hard and apply good strategies you will reap what you sow. Meaning, that at some point if your in the internet network marketing niche your efforts will start to leverage itself and you won’t have to work as hard as you did in the beginning.
Warning: There are curses and a bit of craziness going on in this video. But it’s all in fun and no small animals where killed in the production of this video 🙂
I do hope you take some time and watch the video, we were being silly but the message is the truth. I know some folks don’t want to hear the truth but sometimes it needs to be said. Internet network marketing isn’t difficult, though it does require a person to take what they are doing seriously.
For newbies getting past the grind is the first step to freedom. It’s kinda like when loggerhead sea turtle sea turtles hatch, they have to struggle to get to the sea and when they finally do get their they have to fight off all sorts of predators. Some live some die. Such is life.
…For those that do survive though
Amazing things can happen in their life. The struggle is worth every second of it, because eventually you can be sitting on a beach under an umbrella sipping your favorite drink, reading your favorite book or simply just relaxing in the breeze.
If your like me, you can spend your extra time with your kids, mountain biking doing martial arts and only working when you feel like it. I am not a materialistic person but I do enjoy the freedom of being self – employed.
What Steps To Take To Get Past The Grind In Your Business
1.) Clear step – by – step action plan. I actually recommend you writing down on a piece of paper your daily action plan and tape it somewhere you can see it everyday. A big part in getting past the grind is to stay consistent in your action taking. (What you do depends on who your working with, the training provided for you etc..) But you need to have a clear plan of action and you need stay focused on it.
2.) Have tunnel vision, once you decide on what your going to do, get rid of all the distractions. Unsubscribe to people who aren’t working with you. It’s important that you only zero in on information coming from your company & your business team.
3.) Get some exercise, a little exercise goes along way in helping you stay focused on other aspects of your life. It also helps relieve stress, stress can break you down and you can find yourself becoming less and less productive overtime.
4.) Get your desk & computer organized. The more clutter that is around you, the more your brain will be cluttered.
5.) You have to have a strong support network, your friends, family & business team. I am a strong believer if your spouse or significant other doesn’t support you they don’t love you or believe in you. Do you want to spend your life with someone who doesn’t believe in you or have faith in your abilities? I can’t answer that for you, but you should really think about that. A good team community and culture will do amazing things for your belief system as well as inspire you and motivate you. There is a saying…
You are a sum of the 5 closest people in your life, if life seems like it’s going crazy -> Get new people in your life.
