Internet Network Marketing Success — Skills+Action=Success!
Today I am going to talk about blog pinging in your network marketing blog, in short pinging is a quick way to get the word out about your blog post . There are a few problems with the default settings in WordPress that you may not know especially if you are new to the world of blogging.
A big mistake I made was not knowing that by default after you make a post if you go back in to edit it or change around your theme settings Wordpress will re-ping , this is a bad thing because.
1) The pinging services will consider you a spammer
2) If you have your RSS feed attached to your autoresponder it will piss off your list.
So I am using a plugin that solves that problem and while I am sharing that information with you I will also share with you where I am pinging…
I use MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer you can download it for free or just grab it from your wordpress back office like this.
1) First go to your Dashboard/plugins/add new

2)Next You want to find the MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer you can do this by just typing in ping in the search box.

3) Next you are going to want to go to settings to change MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizers settings.

4) One last thing you want to do is add your ping list I will provide you with mine if you want to copy and paste it to your blog…(I am just showing you this, there is differing opinions on what ping services to use just do some research and you will see what i mean)

When I first started blogging I did make the mistake of not knowing that wordpress will ping everytime you change something. I highly recommend getting MaxBlogPress Ping Optimizer and save yourself the headache to start with.

Thanks!
Every blog that wants to generate traffic should have a good ping list. There are services on the internet that track blogs. Pinging lets those services know that your blog has been updated. The purpose of pinging is to notify those services that you want them to crawl and index your site. Ultimately, you want to let the world know that your blog has fresh content.
