Friends, Old School Network Marketing Is DEAD!
The internet is filled with people who would lead you to believe that if you just get into —>Insert program here<—- You are going to make money. You are told that if you just follow these simple directions you will start to seeing massive results..

Money is not made over night. Yesterday I spoke to a gentleman , he was 87 years old, he told me he has been in the network marketing industry since amway in the 80’s…
He also went on to tell me that his program has the best compensation plan he has ever seen in 15 years…
This particular person got one of my emails with my skype information and sent me an instant message. He said in his message that he was interested in my business opportunity. He asked if he could call and get some more info. No problem I told him just give me a call, so he did. He started asking me if I had any success online.
Obviously I said if I didn’t you wouldn’t be talking to me right now. He paused for a moment and then hit me with his biz op.
His method of online marketing was to do what is called reverse marketing.
He just wanted to pitch me on his business.
Often times when you join a internet network marketing business (mlm) you are taught to sell the sizzle and not the steak–> meaning focus on selling the money and not the product.
I asked this guy if he was actually making money, it was at this point he explained to me that he has made a little bit of money but nothing to talk about. BUT HIS SPONSOR REALLY KNOWS HIS STUFF AND I REALLY SHOULD DO A THREE WAY CALL WITH HIM.
As soon as he said that to me, that was an indicator that he himself did not know that much…..
Some advice: In all the years I have been marketing online I have never done a three-way call. If you want to be seen as the expert, if you want people to join you and trust you keep your upline out of it. As soon as you do a three-way call you are telling your prospect that you are inferior.
I have a confession – I am in it for the money, I only market online because it gives me the opportunity to spend more time with my family. I learned years ago that the only valuable thing I could offer anyone online is my knowledge everything else is meaningless. People don’t really buy products , they buy other people.
People love to buy, if you spouse or friend told you about a really great product and how much they loved it and highly recommended it to you.
Chances are you would consider buying it or at the very least taking a good hard look at it.
If you hope to make more than $100 a year in your business you better start realizing here and now that its going to take more than just reverse marketing someone to make a living online. Its going to take more than just getting some traffic to your website.
I am sure even as you are reading this all you are interested in knowing is “how” to make money on the internet.
So if you ultimate goal is to supplement your income or leave your job then listen to what I am going to tell you next!
Your business will never take off until you start establishing real relationships with people.
Your business will never take off until you start doing what other successful marketers do.
That means learning how to create trust and establish credibility in you.
The businesses I am involved with can never make you money, only you can make you money.
You may be thinking geeze I am not going to do business with this guy listen to how negative he is. That is fine by me…
I know what I know and I have worked very hard for many years to learn how to make money online.
I have big news for you, if you are buying into that get rich quick scheme or that super uber compensation plan you are totally missing the boat you are buying into hype.
Selling the right products is very important, but not as important as you learning “how” to market.
It really did cost me thousands of dollars to learn what I know. I know for a fact unless you find someone to work with that can teach you , you will have to spend a lot of money to learn.
The secret to online success is being the person who can share that valuable information for free. (this means learning from someone who is willing to share it with you for free or spend thousands of dollars to find out for yourself.)

That is the one bad thing about MLM nowadays, the mine is better than yours mentality.
Also, I might add, I always hated doing three way calls and being done to, by others, with a three way call. I would be thinking, come on, we’re adults here, do we really need that much convincing about something that could quite possibly improve our life, (the product or money making venture.) Let the darn product or venture speak and sell it’self.
I mean come on, Walmart does not three way us to come into their store and buy their products. NO! Yet we shop there, and why, simply because we want to save money and buy the product’s they have there.
If you have a great product and/or biz opp, those who know, will recognize it, and will likely join you.
I always felt like, I along with my upline, were ganging up on the prospect, when doing a three way call. But, a lot of upline’s still today highly recommend doing three way calls and hotel meetings.
