Network Marketing – Fixing Problems From The Ground Up

A good majority of people don’t really understand network marketing it is like they love the comp plan but they never fully understand what it takes to make  massive success happen in their lives.  I have seen it happen so many times its scary.  A person joins a business all excited ready to conquer the world, then reality sets in and in 3 months they are gone.

There are a few reasons for this. One reason is because they joined a business expecting someone else to build it for them. Just because its a network marketing business and you can get help from your upline, don’t expect your upline to do anything for you, they should but they don’t have to. They just have to get you in the business. Some people simply don’t take responsibility for their business, and chances are they also don’t take responsibility for anything else in there lives, these people like to blame everyone and everything but themselves for their failures.

Than there is the person that spends thousands of dollars figuring “Hey if I spend enough money my business should grow”, this person never took the time to stop for a moment and actually figure out what it takes to get people to join their business they just start spending. This is also a recipe for disaster.

Some people are so focused on the details that they never get out of first gear! Or they do not give it 100% of their effort. There is this scene in the movie Enter The Dragon I like to refer to.

Internet Network Marketing isn’t difficult (time consuming maybe) difficult it is not.  There are 4 main components you need to achieve a high level of success in the network marketing industry online.

1. Always lead with generic lead capture page, a good lead capture page should not sell any business at all, but it should pre-sell you.

2. Have a funneling system and use funded proposals. You don’t start out the gate making money in network marketing, you need to build a sales team that is effective first, while you are looking for this “team” you still need to bring in the bacon. You do this by using funded proposals.

3. Brand yourself to your prospects. A good way to do this is to set up a blog for your subscribers so they can learn more about you and what you do. Also throwing in a few YouTube video’s for good measure doesn’t hurt.

4. You need traffic and more traffic this is the most important aspect of your business building. Without traffic you are dead in the water.

Time VS Money

Network Marketing requires that you have money or time to get your business started. Having a little of both is the best option but you can get started with one or the other.

a few questions that have come up I will address in this post.

Question – How much time will it take weekly to build my business if I have no money ?

Answer – I want to be honest with you, expect to spend no less than 4 hours a day 6 days a week every week doing some pretty tedious and mundane task… (To further this, expect to work even longer hours if you really want to see some momentum happen in your business) => You won’t hear many “guru’s” tell you that, they don’t want to scare you off but its the truth.

Question – How much Money does it cost to effectively get started?

Answer – Besides what it cost you to be in your program a good starting budget is about $500  if you have $1000 starting budget you can accomplish more faster.  The reason for needing this much money is because you need traffic and tons of it. There are many different ways to get traffic to your business online and many people just blow their money and never see anything happen except having a lighter wallet.

I would like to caution people - Never spend money unless you know why you are spending your money, sounds simple enough but you would be amazed by how many people just throw away money needlessly.

Note: I have been a victim to this myself – There are plenty of sales type folks that will call you and tell you that for X amount of money they will automate your business for you.. FOLKS!!!!!!!! => This Is A Total Lie.

Years ago I joined a business opportunity that for $950 they would set up a business in a box type of thing for me and get me traffic.. I never made 1 single sale  I even called their reps up and asked them what was the issue, I was told that in business these things happen but for another $400 we can get the ball rolling again… That is just one of the businesses I got involved with that ended at a dead end.  I hear stories like mine all day long.  Making money online simply does not work that way.

Learn to become self -reliant and depend on yourself , it will be your knowledge that will become your biggest asset in this industry. People do not join businesses online, they join people. The more you have to offer someone the more likely they will want to work with you.  Network Marketing can truly free you from your job or you current situation if you really put in the effort to make it happen for you. If it wasn’t for the internet I would have never gotten involved with network marketing, but because of the internet it makes bringing people into my business very easy..

One of the truest posts I’ve seen in a long time. Logical, analytical and plain-speaking.

I’ve seen those automation lies as well. It is true you can automate SOOO much of your online business. But only through your self-knowledge of how to do that.

It’s people like you that make network marketing great. Keep on going strong!

This is a great post because often people get into that mentality that "the more money I put in, the more money I get out" and this is far from the truth. While it does take money to make money, the amount of money you need up front to build a network marketing business is much smaller than people think.
There are so many ways to market for free that throwing around money is not the best method and can sometimes even be counterproductive. I feel that the money we do invest should have a clear cut reason as to why we are spending it and I agree that we should always know exactly what we are getting in return.

Ya sadly it took me a few thousands dollars to finally realize that. I am glad though that I came to my senses and never gave up.
