Alright I am sure you are wondering what this post is about. Well recently I was just surfing through face book , and I found a post by Mike Filsaime entitled: “The Coolest Guy On The Planet.” Out of curiosity I checked to see where he was ranked. I found two other really elite marketers hanging out over there on googles rankings. Brad Fallon and Jonathan Ledger. I figured I wanted a piece of the action or I should say I want to have fun with long tailed keyword phrases.
So that brings me to this ” The Coolest Guy On The Planet business. I suspect this won’t bring me a avalanche of traffic, but what it will do is prove that blogs are great at getting long tailed keyword phrases. It will also prove that if you just look around you will see opportunities everywhere to get Targeted traffic and for us targeted traffic is anyone who is not afraid to pull out their credit card and spend money online.
So I decided I want to be the coolest guy on the planet, why not right? Alright maybe I won’t actually achieve that, but I certainly can try to get ranked #1 for that long tail keyword phrase for a day or two.
Granted I am not at the guru level of Mike Filsaime, Brad Fallon or Jonathan Ledger but does it matter? I am certainly not a seo guru , but I really do believe in the power of a self hosted wordpress blog. So if you happen to be reading this because I managed to get ranked by google for the “Long Tail Keyword Phrase” (The Coolest Guy On The Planet) its not because I am a guru its because I used time tested seo strategies and a good blogging plate form.
I realize I am going out of my way to get rankings for a phrase that has nothing to do with what I am currently doing, so I will employ even more firepower to this post by writing a squidoo page and hub page to get back links pointing to this blog post. I will even submit an article or two pointing directly to this post. I believe that should be enough to tap the “gurus” on the shoulder and say HOWDY!
But mostly I just want to show you that we are all created equal. This is especially true online. These gurus spend a fortune to get where they are, but what is totally awesome about marketing online is the fact that having money to burn isn’t the only way to build a presence online.
The saying it takes money to make money is true, however it doesn’t have to take a whole lot of money to make money. You just have to look around for the right opportunities. Sometimes those opportunities are sitting under your nose and you don’t even realize it.
So ya I do think I am “The Coolest Guy On The Planet!” Not because I built the largest Internet Network Marketing Team—>Not because I make billions of dollars. I think I am the coolest guy on the planet because I believe I am.
