Sunday Morning Construction – Oh Boy What Did I Do!

Switching WordPress Themes

So I thought it was time for a new wordpress theme. I have had my eye on the one your looking at now for some time now. I have been hesitant to switch because of the headache it is to redesign these things…

…However,

The time has come….

Welcome to my new look…

It may be a few days or weeks before I actually get everything nice and tidy but this is a good start!

Was Thesis Is Now Studiopress

This is use to run on Thesis and while I love the themes I actually feel more in sync with Studiopress themes. As far as the all the coding and scripting goes I think both themes are pretty much even in that department.

…Though I confess I have had more problems with thesis themes than I have had with my studiopress themes.

Quick Plug For Newbies

I am always in the back of my self hosted wordpress blogs tweaking things, breaking things etc.. To be honest with you it’s a real time sink and more times than not I find myself looking for solutions to all the errors that I get from time to time because of different plug in conflicts.

The best is when you install a new plugin and it your theme needs an upgrade and now your new shiny plugin decides it doesn’t like the changes…..

…Ever have that happen to you?

Long story short, I write in my Empower Network Blog all the time. They offer 3 basic themes that you can re – configure how ever you want. I chose a simple design. It’s so much easier to work with my EN blog. No headaches just get in there and start blogging.

If I had to start all over again -> All I would focus on writing is my Empower Network Blog.

I’ve been asked on several occasions why would I choose empower network’s blogging plate form over a free one or my own self – hosted. The simple answer is this..

With empower network, I don’t have to spend hours figuring out how to use my blog, I don’t have to worry about wordpress errors that do pop up all the time for everyone that uses a wordpress blog.

I don’t have to worry if my domain name is an authority or not…

I don’t have to worry if I can use my blog to promote businesses…

I don’t have to worry about much really, I just can get in there start blogging and know that what I am blogging about has a good chance of getting ranked in the search engines. So while I write in this blog and a few other blogs I created. I do so because I just love writing and I love having a bunch of virtual real – estate online.

…Also

I already make money online, so it’s not like I am trying to figure out how to make money online…

So for me writing in this blog is part hobby part business… But my empower network blog I write about everything and anything.  My confession is I enjoy writing on that blog more than any other blog in my arsenal.

Maybe it’s because Empower Network has helped me make over $50,000. The whole reason why I started blogging –> Which was before empower network was even here, is because I wanted to use my blog to help me make money…

So if your goal is to make money online and you don’t know how to yet.. Might I suggest you start with looking at empower network.. Newbies shouldn’t try and re – invent the wheel or try and be all original.

…Rather,

They should start with plugging into something that has been proven to work . Who is Empower Network for? The person who wants to know how to make money while having a life at the same time. When I say making money I am not talking about making an extra $50 or $250 a month. I am talking about earning some crazy stupid almost silly money… Does that interest you?-–> Empower Network Is Proven To Work Click Here Now
