2014 | Blog Tips | What To Do
[contextly_sidebar id=”145d17419e99f3c2cee05d5927fe85d9″]Profitonknowledge has been in publication since 2006. We have had high page rank, we have had our page rank taken away. We have had tons and tons of traffic and we lost tons and tons of traffic. Yes we made mistakes…
…With that said,
we are still hear we are still blogging and we are still serving the people. It’s 2014 and while we can’t control aspects like what google thinks is quality content we can still provide oodles of value to you.
Blogging can seem very challenging at first. There are times when it feels like you are posting and post yet nobody is reading. My friend this happens to everyone. Just know that if your out there in cyber space blogging and you are consistent in your efforts they will pay off for you.
Blogging In 2014 | Social Media More Important Than Ever
We learned in 2013 with all the Google algorithm changes that Social Media Signals are becoming more important especially Google+. Facebook is no longer the only game in town when it comes to big social networks Google+ is ranked 2. The difference being google+ is of course backed by a monster of a search engine company.
It’s always important to use images in your blog to tell your story. It’s even more important to use images that you can share on Pinterest and use them on your blog. Studies have shown that blog post with images get shared more often than blog post without images. I’d like to also mention that images get indexed pretty quickly on search engines like google.
The bottom like on Social Media is the more engagement the better. Make sure to interact with your commentors and follow the golden rule. Do unto others has you would have done to you. Meaning if you come across stuff that you like share it and mention in the persons comment section that you shared it. This way you will be put on the bloggers radar and they will be more likely to come back and share your stuff.
Blogging In 2014 | Mobile Ready Smart Phone Blogs
Personally I think the biggest thing to look at in 2014 is smart phones. They are changing the way people use the internet. I’ve written blog post from my smart phone as well as responded to commentors. Knowing that smart phones are only going to get smarter, you need to really make sure that your blogging theme is mobile ready.
Smart phones aren’t just a trend they are here to stay. More and more people are searching the internet via their smart phones everyday. They are doing everything from buying stuff from amazon.com to managing their banking online. I actually read several blogs strictly from my Iphone.
Knowing that smart phones are only getting better, now is the time for you to start taking a serious look at how you can use them for your business building. If your a wordpress blogger there is a free wordpress plugin that you can use to connect your blog automatically to your smart phone. Just type in the words wordpress app in your plugin section and you will find it.

Keep in mind the things that have always held true when it comes to blogging. Provide good content. Blogging is about entertaining and informing your readers and subscribers. If you only focus on trying to get money out of peoples pockets your blog won’t be very successful. There is a small percentage of people that just throw up garbage private label right articles up. I am sure your not one of them. Don’t worry about your grammer, just write from your heart.
Above all else, enjoy the experience…..

Hi Huzaimakhan,
Sounds like your right on track. Congratulations on being assertive and consistent in your approach I wish you much success…
Very nicely summarized. Can you also guide us on backlink creation. What are the strategies to be followed in 2014 regarding backlinks and how much important it is now.
Does not only content matters of backlink matter as well ?
Hi Madhur,
Backlinks do matter, but only in a natural organic way. Another words getting backlinks from sites that have nothing in common with your site is useless.
Backlinks are still needed, however they are not as important as they once where. At least from websites.
Today, the name of the game is social backlinks and social interaction.. Meaning = Getting your blog post shared on places like google plus and facebook.
Having relevant backlink are also helpful. In the past and even today people pay someone to get them back links. This is a bad practice and will not raise your seo….
The reason why you would comment on a blog is 1. you enjoyed the content and want to add value to it. 2. If you put a good comment up it could help send traffic to your site.
Hope that helps,
Larry
Very nicely summarized Larry. Many thanks for it.
I agree to most of your points here. Getting popular on social networking sites is important but I guess difficult (when you are starting a new blog).
I agree with this article. With the booming mobile devices, a lot of these users often go to web using their mobile devices. Having your site or blog to be mobile-friendly can be really helpful. I also noticed that social media is getting more useful than it was before. Thanks for sharing your thoughts about it, Larry. A really nice read.
Hi Andrew,
You are more than welcomed. I am glad you enjoyed the post.
hello admin in think Blogging is harder day by day. Google latest algorithm make blogging much complicated, But still the main question arrives in my mind is that how i make a sizeable income. Tell me what are the high paying niches of this year which make us a successful blogger
Hi Rana,
Some folks will lead you to believe that you need to find the high paying niches. That isn’t true, if your using blogging as your main means of earning a profit online you first need to establish your web presence.
I tell folks not to focus on making money when they first start blogging, rather they need to focus on developing their passion and creating engagement. Once you start getting regular traffic that loves what you are sharing with them, then it’s time for you to start considering how to profit from your blog.
On the flip side of that. Let’s say you already have yourself a home business, then what you need to be doing is taking your blog and adding your personality into it and create credibility with the folks say on your list or social networks..
Successful blogging is all about connecting with like minded people
All good advice Larry. This is the first I have run into you but I will be back for more.
Thanks Lance I look forward to connecting with you
The essence of blogging are experience. After some time you will see what is important and what isn’t for your blog.
Very nicely summarized Larry. Many thanks for it.
