Where are our Vlog Challenge Videos?

You may have noticed that we haven’t posted our vlog challenge videos here lately. We are still making videos daily. We are on day 80. We are determined to get through this 90 day challenge. We are also in the middle of our health challenge which we are still doing. (well do an update on that in a few weeks.)

I wish hackers and spammers just didn’t exist; that you didn’t have to take such mega action to protect your blog. However… Since neither are the case… You must learn how to protect your WordPress blog from hackers and yes spammers too! You also need to know how to backup your blog properly.

This is because Larry’s websites got hacked and his dedicated hosting company shut him down to protect any further threats.

Larry, literally thought it was the end of the world. All of his hard work for years over a dozen sites… Gone with the wind!

In this video I am using my green screen. I use Pinnacle Studio 16 as my choice editing software. I suppose I could use Adobe’s editing software, but I am more comfortable using Pinnacle. I think it’s an easier software to learn.

Are you trying to do everything perfectly? How much time are you spending on your quest for perfection?

I know that the video I created using the StudioChromaKeyer isn’t perfect. I wasn’t going for perfection, I just wanted to play with my software and see whats possible. I believe spending to much time worrying about what other people think is a waste of time. The reason I say that is because you simply can’t make everyone happy.

So I recommend not worrying about what other people think. Don’t sweat if what you are doing is perfect. Just do and let the pieces fall where they may……

90 Day Vlog Challenge | How To Overcome Shiny Object Syndrome

Sometimes… I have to be careful… Of all the shiny objects floating around. I love to learn, so I have to be extra careful! New books and courses come out all the time and if I am not paying attention, I might just go crazy and go on a spending spree!

It’s okay, if you buy things and actually utilize them to the fullest and of course don’t go into debt buying things! For instance, if you buy a course and actually go through it and then utilize that info… It’s okay for you to buy another product to continue your growth. However, if you haven’t used what you currently have dear friend stop being distracted by the shiny objects and utilize what you currently have to the fullest right now!

If you can follow this golden rule of taking inventory of what you have and being honest with yourself… Have you have utilized it to the fullest or not? Then you my dear friend can overcome shiny object syndrome which just happens to be the abbreviation S.O.S.!

If after watching this video, you realize you have shiny object syndrome (also known as shiny ball syndrome), then you know there is hope!

1. Admit you have the problem.

2. Pay attention to the resources you already have. (Take inventory.)

3. Become a great self-corrector…

– Do I already have something that can serve the same purpose?
– Have I utilized it to its true potential?
