To Pre – Sell Or Not To Pre – Sell That Is The Question
This is a very interesting topic to talk about one that probably should be talked about more often. Because more than likely you aren’t being told just how important this aspect of internet network marketing is.
Traditionally online you are taught that you have a lead capture page for your company and from that page your prospect goes to a sales page, then you are suppose to follow up with that prospect via your autoresponder through a pre – written email series or email broadcasting.
It is taught this way because it’s the simplest way to get started quickly. Advanced marketers don’t do it this way. If that’s the case, what do advanced marketers do?
Answer: They pre – sell their potential customer/prospect first.
Your conversions will be much better if you pre – sell the person first.
What makes a good pre – sell page?
I have heard these pages go by different names. Some call them thank you pages, others call them sandwich pages. Regardless of what the page is called, it’s simply a way for you warm up a total stranger to the idea of doing business with you.
You can do a text/graphic pre – sell page, but doing video pages are more powerful. A good rule of thumb is keep your pre – sell video short. No longer than 2 minutes. The reason is because where you send the person next is going to either be:
- A long sales page that goes into the details of what you are selling
- Or it’s going to be a video that is longer than 20 minutes going over what is being sold
This is why your pre – sell page shouldn’t be a long, just long enough to get your potential prospect/customer to be interested in you and what you are doing. If you do a good pre – sell presentation it will go a long way into getting the person to go through the selling process
Pre – Sell Wrap Up
Blogs work great to make pre – sell pages, there are systems out there that you can use that make it easy for you to make web pages. Ultimately remember people buy people and not products, this why having your own unique pre – sell is important to your bottom line. This is just one of many internet marketing strategies that helps a person build a successful business on the internet.
Are you using a pre – sell in your business?

Hey Larry, do you have an example of your personal pre-sell thank you after they opt-in with a link to the longer sales video?
