Hey you, I don’t know you but if you are here reading this chances are that you are in someway interested in making money online. Also there is a really good chance that you are making a little bit or nothing at all right now.
It’s okay if you aren’t making a lot of money online right now. Everyone has to start somewhere. What isn’t okay is if you want to make money online and you aren’t taking massive action in your life to make sure that you succeed at it.
To be honest with you, it doesn’t matter what niche your are interested in or what type of compensation model that you like because what really matters more than any of that stuff is that you understand these 3 things
- How to sell yourself
- How to generate traffic online
- How to create a marketing funnel
Your lead capture page doesn’t have to be the prettiest, but it does have to solve a problem. Your website doesn’t have to be the sharpest but it does have to clear navigation so that your readers know exactly what you want them to do once they arrive to their site.
And to be 100% honest with you none of that stuff matters as much as being able to sell yourself.
To often people are involved with internet marketing or wants to get involved with internet marketing but they don’t want personally have to sell anyone anything. This is a huge mistake because people like buying from people.
Don’t Just Dream About It, Do It
It can feel overwhelming getting started in an online business. There really is quite a bit you have to learn. The good news is there has been others before you who have walked down the road you are getting ready to travel.
When I got started with online marketing back in 2002 it was like the wild west. You didn’t know what was legit and what wasn’t. It was near impossible to get people to believe they could make money online.
Today the internet has proven itself a reliable vehicle to make money. You simply have to get started down a path.
Some Simple Truths
[contextly_sidebar id=”dk0Ud1zecOiHJbQW6r1S8x2S908h66r7″]Play big or go home! You may believe you can start small and work your way up. While this is true in the sense that if you are bringing something totally unique to the market place you won’t have much competition and assuming people want to buy what you are selling it won’t be to difficult to start on a shoestring budget.
Unless of course you consider having to pay for a web designer, graphic artist, maybe a video crew in some instances you need to pay a programmer and of course unless you want to sit in front of your computer 24/7 you are going to have to pay someone to do customer service.
Outside of that, you can bring your unique product to the market place pretty affordable.
If you are like me and I am sure many of you are. You don’t want to have a headache just to make some extra money online. In this case you are going to want to start with selling affiliate products.
Here is the truth that so few people want to listen to. It takes just as much work to sell products that cost $5000 as it does to sell products that cost $10. The only real difference is the amount of money you can make from product sales.
The fact is unless you are selling high ticket products, you may never get to the part of your business where you are swimming in profits because you will have to constantly throw all your money back into your business.
Imagine for a moment: You could sell 3 products that cost $1000 each and earn $250 per product = $750 in profit Or you could sell 25 products that cost $25 each and earn $8 per product = $200
As you can see from the above example, it will be hard to continue to build your business and pay yourself at the same time.
Let’s really look at that for a moment, of course those numbers are made up, but they are very real world examples of the difference between selling high ticket products vs low ticket products. Especially in the “Internet Network Marketing” world.
Here is the difference.
The Low ticket path is much harder to achieve success with it and here is why. First it takes longer to believe in yourself. Wouldn’t it suck if you worked 60 hours in a week and only made $50 in commissions? I know I have felt that way before and take my word for it, it doesn’t feel good.
OR
The high ticket path, where you work the same 60 hours but you ended up making $4000 for the week. Wouldn’t it feel better to end your week that way?
Either way both paths take just as much effort and that my friends is the thing to remember.
Let’s wrap this post up
I know I went off track a little, so let’s get back on track shall we. The point of this post isn’t to sell you anything. It’s really to get you to understand that it doesn’t matter what you want to do online. What’s important is that you get started NOW, on what ever path you choose to follow. Because after all you aren’t going to be alive forever and eventually you are going to run out of time.
So take advantage of the time you have now and create a legendary lifestyle that you always dreamed about.
Talk to soon,
Larry Rivera
P.S. You may be tempted to just create your own products and that isn’t a bad thing. If creating your own lead pages and sales pages, dealing with customer service and potentially having to spend thousands of dollars in development cost doesn’t scare you. I say go for it!
If your not ready for that yet though, I highly recommend you sell stuff that has high commission potential, if not you will never be able to get into the profit zone.
this is so so helpful. I have been wasting time my blog hoping things will get better. this is a serious eye opener. thanks
