Selling Facts Is Boring And For The Record Nobody Cares
Before you start thinking, geeze this guy is a jerk hear me out. Facts are an important part of making a buying decision, and the facts should be considered but facts don’t sell anything on it’s own merit.
Why do I say that?
People still smoke cigarettes don’t they. Even though countless studies have proven that they do indeed cause cancer.
They even put a nice warning label on the cigarette box warning you that smoking is bad for your health.
They even strongly recommend against using their products, however millions of people around the world still smoke.
I could use other examples of how facts mean nothing when it comes to a buying decision while I am at it benefits are sorta kinda important, but not really.
Again It will benefit a person to quit smoking right now, but I am guessing that isn’t strong enough to convince someone to quit.
So my point here is facts and benefits isn’t what convinces a person to buy something. I know there are people out there that disagree, but those same people more than likely aren’t very good sales people either.
Did you know you are always selling yourself to someone? The way you talk, walk , act and so forth other people are deciding if they like you or not. You may say to yourself you don’t really care what other people think about you. But deep down inside you and I both know you do. It’s part of human nature.
Just the other day I was talking to a person in my internet network marketing deal who asked me a very significant question, he said:
I don’t want to go public with what I am doing yet until I can prove it works
After addressing his question it got me realizing that I gave him an answer that I think most people in our internet network marketing industry needs to hear.
How A Newbie Starts Selling Internet Network Marketing Products
There are thousands of people making this mistake, maybe you are too. Pay attention to what I am saying here to you. It doesn’t matter if you ever sold anything online ever, you still need to talk about what you are selling. To who you may ask? The answer is everyone! The problem is how do you do that?
For starters, I hope you aren’t doing an online business just because you want to make money. I do hope your doing something you believe in. Before you start pitching your internet network marketing deal, you need to immerse yourself in your product(s). How do they make you feel? What are you learning? Why are your products important to you? It better be more than just the compensation plan to.
There is so much garbage b.s. products online that people push simply because the comp plan sounds good. To sell stuff to people those people need to believe in what you believe. They need to feel inspired by your personal actions. People look at you and can only conclude whatever it is you are portraying. This is why until you start loving, talking about what you are doing you aren’t going to be able to sell anything.
Internet Network Marketing – Avoid Tire Kickers, Time Wasters And Small Minded Gits
This may offend some people, but if it does it’s because sometimes the truth is offensive. You may be struggling online if you say things like:
- I am going to only get in at the lowest level and see how it goes
- I am not going to talk about this until I make some money with it
- Just Get 5 People That Get 5 People
- I can’t afford to do x,y & z
- $125 a month is a lot of money to start a business online
- I have to ask my spouse first
- Does it really work?
- This is just another one of those schemes
- It’s to hard
The fact of the matter is this my friends, people are always looking for shortcuts, then after realizing that nothing replaces value, substance, dedication, commitment, focus, time etc.. They give up, talk trash, blame everyone for everything it is these small minded people with tiny little brains that spread their gospel of hate that ruins stuff for everyone else.
Sometimes, I hear all these negative things and I listen to all these small minded people and I roll my eyes and think how sad their lives must really be. Folks, I am living proof that how much money you have doesn’t matter, how smart you are doesn’t matter, where you live doesn’t matter all that matters is that you have a burning desire in your heart and a willingness to do whatever it takes to get to where you want to go.

That is the #1 most important aspect of all this, you absolutely need to love what your doing. I’ve noticed that people who do stuff for money alone never become successful.

As I like to say, you have to have some “sizzle” to your pitch or no one is going to be interested. You need people to get excited about what you’re selling, otherwise why would they join something that they’re going to have to promote to others if they don’t even care about it?

I heard one time that you sell the sizzle and you take away the steak. I always that that was a harsh saying, however it’s kinda of true.
I try not to use to much sizzle because sometimes sizzle can borderline hype. It is my sincere desire that people join stuff with me because of me and my personality.
