Are you targeting the right network marketing customer for your business? Internet network marketing is a very broad term some folks would think that you need to attract as many people as possible. This couldn’t be further from the truth.
You need to attract the right person to your “message”.
The question you need to ask yourself right now is what is it costing you in time and money to market your business? If your not using the right message you could be spending a fortune and a losing a lot of time talking to the wrong people.
It’s important to note that when your marketing you aren’t talking to the many or the few. You are talking to one specific person. Once you identify this person the rest of your marketing becomes very easy. Read that last sentence because understanding it, is the difference between success and failure online.
Here are some questions you can ask yourself to help you figure out who your internet network marketing customer is:
Who – Who is this person you are talking to? Where do they hang out? What do they want?
Why – Why do you want to talk to this person? What is it that you want them to know about you?
What – What are you going to do for them? In order to be an effective leader you need to offer real solutions to real problems
None of those questions matter though if you don’t have clarity in what you want. What are your desires? What is it that you really want? Really think about these things because unless you know without a shadow of a doubt what your desires are and what you really want out of life it’s going to be practically impossible to find your ideal target customer.
What are your attributes, what unique qualities do you have? These are the hard questions you need to ask yourself in order to have clarity.
You Can Choose Who Your Internet Network Marketing Customer Is
You hear of a lot of bad experiences when it comes to network marketing online. That’s because people go into this industry without knowing themselves and without knowing their prospects..
“If you know the enemy and know yourself, you need not fear the result of a hundred battles. If you know yourself but not the enemy, for every victory gained you will also suffer a defeat. If you know neither the enemy nor yourself, you will succumb in every battle.”
– Sun Tzu, The Art Of War
Notice the last line of that quote. That there speaks volumes to most online marketers. That is the reason why the failure rate in the internet network marketing industry is so high. It’s because of the sentence I underlined in the quote.
Choose carefully the words you use to attract your network marketing customer. By your own words you could be attracting the wrong customer. Notice I didn’t say prospect that’s because whenever you do anything that involves internet network marketing emphasis on the network marketing part it requires that the people you recruit into your deal are able to also recruit people.
I know, once you start hearing that word recruit you start to cringe a little. Raise your hand if you are one of those people who actually can recruit people, but the people you recruit never seem to duplicate your efforts. Go ahead raise your hand it’s okay. I know how that feels because I have recruited hundreds of the wrong people unknowingly.
At any given moment I can join something and I guarantee that I can bring in an average of 20 people a month into whatever internet network marketing business I am involved with if I choose to. Why? Because I know how to drive traffic to my lead pages, and those pages go into a funnel and the funnel converts people. Anyone can do that part it’s actually pretty easy.
The hard part is finding the right network marketing customer for your business.
If you don’t know who your network marketing customer really is you are in for some hard lessons. You don’t want people who make excuses. You don’t want time vampires and you certainly don’t want people who are afraid of their own shadows.
Hint: If you want a thriving internet network marketing business you need to recruit leaders who can taste success. They simply need to be pointed in the right direction. Don’t try and be everything to everyone, rather solve one persons problem.
If you can solve one persons problem you can solve thousands of people’s problems.
Who is this illusive network marketing customer I am talking about?
To find this mystery person you need to gather more information about this person. For example what are their fears? What are the top 5 biggest problems they are having? What is it that they really want?
Begin to look at the problems in your industry. Once you see what problems people are facing you can start working on solutions to those problems. The right network marketing customer is the person who want’s to work with you.
Here are few more things you should find out about your network marketing customer:
- Where do they live?
- How much money does their household make?
- What education level do they have?
- Married or single?
- What age are they?
- Do they have kids?
Knowing the answer to these questions will help you better create a message that will appeal to your network marketing customer. Finally, while I know making money is important after all you have to live right? When you are thinking about who your network marketing customer is think about what you can do to serve them.
In fact be more concerned about their needs than your own needs. The best way to be successful in the internet networking marketing world is to be a servant leader. It’s all about helping the other person. Genuinely and sincerely helping other people, if your fake people will know it.
That’s all for now talk to you soon!
