Taking daily consistent action every day like doing a blog post a day is what it takes to succeed online. When it comes to internet network marketing or any online business type venture thingy. It’s not the business that sells, it’s your story that does. I didn’t start having any kind of success online until I started blogging. The reason why writing in a blog is you best chance of finding success is because it is the only marketing medium that lets you tell YOUR story in your OWN words FREE of outside influence.
I get messaged in facebook all the time from people who send me a message saying something along the lines of
Hey I got X,Y and Z and right now I can show you how you can get 100 leads free in 1 day
Something like that, I usually shake my head and just delete the spam. It’s probably one of the biggest waste of time, yet so many people do it because they think it’s easier than writing a blog post a day.
Does Writing A Blog Post A Day Work?
With all this talk about SEO and Backing linking it’s no wonder why so many people feel overwhelmed with blogging. Until recently it was kinda difficult to get started blogging. I spent a couple of years looking at my blogs wondering what the hell to say in them.
I bought PLR articles, re – spun some of them. I don’t care what anyone says about it. While it will help you get back links and you can use them. They do nothing to help you infuse your personality into your blog. In many cases the re – spun content doesn’t make sense. So I don’t advise doing a re – spun blog post a day. Paying someone to write for you can be effective but obviously you would have to a have a budget to do that.

I like Empower Network’s 3 basic steps
- Do a blog post a day
- Share It With Others
- Get Paid
Does doing a blog post a day work? Is it that simple? Or is it a bunch of hogwash?
The answer to those questions is this: It is that easy to get paid. I seen it happen, it happened to me. But it only happened because mentally and emotionally I was all in and my message bleeds through my words. I do spend money on marketing my business through lead capture pages. But $1 for $1 blogging and sharing out performs my money everytime.
What I mean is this —> Sure I can spend money get leads and get sign ups. And yes people join because of the marketing metrics. More times than I can count those same people who came in through all my efforts via paying for it.. End up not wanting to spend money, not wanting to put in the effort totally untargeted traffic.
Sometimes you do get the right person, but mostly you don’t. That is why it can take 50 leads a day of paid traffic to get 1 sign up.
……Drum Roll
In most every single online opportunity. What that breaks down to is something like 1500 leads a month. Let me ask you a question? Are you getting 1500 leads a month with your paid advertising? If not, now you know one of the reasons you aren’t seeing success online.
Thing’s like doing a blog post a day and social media do bring a higher targeted lead into your funnel. You get more bang for your buck so to speak from 10 leads a day through those methods than you do paying money for 50 leads a day.
Yet, there are lots of people out there who insist on doing things where they are only getting 5 to 6 leads a week. Sadly most times that isn’t there fault because they are listening to someone telling them that’s what they need to do.
If you want success online the only thing you really need to do is stay consistent and only do things that have been proven overtime to create real results.
For Example: Blogging is a proven way to attract the right type of leads into your business. With the right compensation model your blog can causes a magnetic surge of energy to shoot through your business creating leads and sales.. And most importantly doesn’t cost anything to do. It’s just simply a matter of taking consistent action every day. Like writing 1 blog post a day.
Will you start making money overnight? Of course not but every journey worth taking starts with a first step. When Empower Network got started I was already a blogger and I went through the sales funnel and said to myself.. What! $25 a month for an opportunity to write on an authority blog and earn 100% commissions that’s just sick!
I can’t predict the future for anyone, but I can say with certainty that if you hear what I am saying there is an opportunity right under your nose that can help you create the lifestyle of your dreams. The reality is that if you apply yourself and you take action, you could be making money the same day you join empower network. All that depends on you and your actions.
If you feel compelled to learn more about Empower Network and you happen to join through my affiliate link I will be more than happy to help you get the most out of the blogging system and the program.

I always try to blog once a day to keep my website active. A cool thing about WordPress is that you can even schedule posts for the future, so I can take the weekends off and still have posts. I like to share these posts on websites like Digg and Stumbleupon which leads to more hits, which leads to more money. I haven’t really looked into this Empower thing, but since you suggested it, I guess I’ll have to give it a try! Thanks.
Hi Robert,
Every now and then I get that far ahead of myself. The challenge for me is to get a blog post done once a week in all my various blogs..
I would love to have you on our Empower Network team. As soon as you get in I got some really awesome stuff to share with you 🙂
Blog posting is great way to earn money by sharing interesting content on particular topic. Blogging also makes possible to share personal information which helps to make mind free and get reviews of commentators. This is really good information for blogger.
I am glad you enjoyed the article..
I notice on some bloggers why they are taking so much time not updating their articleas or post on their websites?
Right! I think it’s because they run out of stuff to say.. Not me 🙂
…I can babble all day long
Seriously though it has taken me awhile to learn how to blog frequently.
I notice that you always update it no questions to ask for you. I believe you are professional.
That’s a lot of excessive pinging @ the same blog. Search engines may frown upon that behavior.
Certainly if that’s what you do it’s what you do.. Look at twitter and sites like that.. I also think it depends on how many services you have set up to ping in your dashboard.
…It’s a catch 22
While search engines like to see you post everyday.. Your regular readers will miss many of your post.
And consequently not comment. I noticed a significant drop in comments when I post everyday on this blog.
It depends, if your a new blogger you need to post everyday for sure. If your established you can get away with posting 3 to 4 times a week.
WORD!
Double WORD! 🙂
Thanks Ken, I enjoy your videos…
Daily blog posting is an important aspect for a blogger to keep the blog alive and keep providing the quality content to their readers. Updating the blog on regular basis provides greater exposure and also improves the blog reputation.
Thanks for the comment 🙂
Well said Larry, I think blogging is a better source of leads because the people visiting are actually interested in what you have to say. With paid advertising there could be a totally different mindset involved.
Hey Randy!
I look forward to interviewing you later this week 🙂
Your right blog traffic and blog opt ins are much higher quality than any paid form of advertising…
This is what blogging is all about. You should be sharing your story in whatever capacity that you wish. Making money should come secondary to that.
Hi Steven, thanks for commenting..
…I agree I think a lot of people get involved with blogging without having a real passion for the fine art
Its true, blogging sounds fun but thinking of writing all those never ending topics always use to swirl my head. I believe there are times when even bloggers do run out of ideas on new topics and trying to get some inspiration always bring back that intensity. I found the articles very helpful and I’m sure every reader who loves writing will appreciate your tips.
Hi Becca,
I am a high school drop out and let’s just say I dreaded writing essay’s and doing book reports. I would have never guessed I would be a blogger one day.
It use to be hard coming up with ideas to blog about. As you blog more often it get’s easier you just need to stay focused.

I can understand that writing a blog article everyday can be time consuming but in the end it pays off. If I see a blog that hasn’t been updated in two or three weeks I generally overlook it. “Content is king” is a great concept to keep in mind when blogging. If you’re genuine about your articles, people will see that. Great article!
Thanks Ella,
I feel the same way. When I come across a blog that hasn’t been written in awhile. I usually just hit the back button.
Thanks for stopping by and commenting.
Hey Larry, Loved your post. I am new blogger and I have been blogging since last 8-9 months only. I have trying to blog on a daily basis. I mean I blog for 5 days a week and in the weekends I jolt down the ideas in my kitchen notepad. I don’t promote too much or I don’t have a freelancer working for my promoting my blogs. But overall the results have been pretty satisfactory so far.. I think I will continue with it as it is working for me 🙂
Hi Cathy,
Thanks for stopping by.. Try incorporating sharing on a tribe.. I use tribepro.. I have a link for it on the sidebar of my blog.
I started out as a free member and seen some good traffic spikes so I moved up to a plus member.. Now when I submit a piece of content I get 1500 to 2500 shares across many different social networks.. I would say it increased my traffic by a 1000 visitors a month.. give or take..
Sometimes people use the argument that blogging too often is bad for the quality of your content. I find that sometimes you do need to just force yourself to get your words out there! People are too reticent to share their content from time to time, but doing something like this forces you to hammer out your writing and get reps to improve the quality of your site.
I did an experiment a few months back.. On this particular blog I actually blogged everyday for about 2 weeks I noticed my bounce rate increase and my comment rate decreased..
On the flip side I seen a spike of new viewers..
Because of the nature of this blog I decided to try to keep my writing down to 4 days at most.
New bloggers should write everyday though as it is the fastest way into the indexes..
Each blog is different so each blog owner needs to evaluate if blogging more is going to hurt or help.
My verdict: older blogs post less, newer blogs post more 🙂
I really like blogging everyday but of course it isn’t always possible. If I ever get more organized I would like to pick one day a week to write all the blog posts for the week. I think the more you blog, the better you are as far as traffic goes.
Hi Mamaj, thanks for stopping by and commenting..
I have gotten into a habit of quickly jotting down ideas.. Usually I come up with a title and like 10 words and save it.
I found over the years I have a database of ideas to pull from. On another blog I am doing 2 post a day.. 5 days a week.. It can get tricky to keep the content fresh and engaging..
I agreed with Scott, sometimes we have to force ourselves to get our words out. If you blogpost on daily basis then it does not only make your blog alive but also increase traffic, earning and also it improves your quality of writing.
Hi Pete, I agree..
I remember back in 2006 it took me days to turn out a blog post. I can, if in a rush bust out a blog on just about any subject in about 15 mins.
Granted it may not be one of my better pieces, sometimes though I write for the search engines and sometimes I write for my reader..
I try and balance between the two..
I have only just started internet marketing and even tried my hand a SEO. I soon discovered that to succeed you need some passion behind your marketing. I am now learning to blog and writing about my experience and I find out what is my purpose in life. I don’t think I could blog every day, but twice a week is my target.
It actaully feels good writing real stuff. Hopefully people will read it.
