Network Marketing Blogs -Â I Just Did A Guest Post

One of the ways to get more content for your blog or to get more traffic to your network marketing blogs is via guest posting. A good friend of mine Peter Chapman just syndicated an article I wrote for him. It is entitled Network Marketing – Start Here in that article one of the things I say is Traffic Exchanges and Safelist are basically pretty useless. He had said to me that he may not actually agree with me saying that they are all useless. So I want clear up what I mean by that.
Network Marketing Blogs – Traffic Exchanges And Safelist Suck!
They do work, if you happen to be the person who can afford to buy the upsells. Personally I feel if you use any traffic exchange or safelist and you do not upgrade your account you are wasting your time. This is especially true in Safelist. So lets break all this down a bit further.
Traffic Exchanges – These are places where you visit other peoples websites via the traffic exchanges portal and view a persons website till the timer expires. In exchange you earn credits so that you can have your website exposed to others. Ya sounds great right? But the reality is everyone who is using a traffic exchange already has a business and really aren’t looking to start another one.
That is not to say that they can’t be effective, but you need to use the right type of lead capture page and you will need a boatload of traffic to get any results at all. Over the years their have been a few traffic exchange type programs that I like, while I don’t actually click for credits ( A Total Time Waster) I do buy credits from time to time.
Here Are My Favorites traffic exchanges
The first one is a oldie, but it has proved its staying power and it is one of the most popular traffic exchanges online.
The next 2 exchanges are rather new to the arena but both have very cool twist on the idea of traffic exchanges and certainly worth taking a look at.
I found that promoting your network marketing blogs via these traffic exchanges is very responsive
Lastly a cool site called Thumbvu!
Safelist Can Be Just As Pointless
While I love safelist I have made a ton of money because of them, the truth is as a free member the chances of you making any money from them is slim to none. Seriously the only way to get most safelist to work in your favor is to purchase the upsells. I am not talking in just 1 safelist I am talking about upgrading in several safelist. In the past I effectively marketed in traffic exchanges and safe list. The truth is I never ever actually clicked for any credits in anything I basically bought all my credits.
Now some folks are thinking , sounds good I will just click for free. Here is the thing about FREE. As a free member to anything traffic exchanges or safelist you will never earn enough credits fast enough to see any real “measurable” results.
On average I need 30 to 40,000 views on my lead capture pages via traffic exchanges and safelist to make any money using them. This is statistic that has more or less been the same for about 5 years for me. Think about that for a moment. Because it doesn’t really matter what I throw in them the numbers seem to always be about the same. Also more importantly you need to really purchase the upsells to really get full use of them. Again promoting your network marketing blogs can surprisingly responsive.
So why did I slam them so hard in the article I wrote for Peters blog? Simply put, to actually get these types of sites to work you need to purchase the upsells. The thing is, just purchasing 1 will not give you enough traffic to see decent results. You need to purchase several at 1 time and this can get expensive. I don’t see a problem with it, but 99% of the folks I have dealt with choke at having to spend $400 to $600 to be able to fully take advantage of sites like these.
Also add into the fact that if you don’t know how to make good lead capture pages and you don’t know how to brand yourself online AND you don’t know how to use your autoresponder correctly you are just throwing money out the window. Now with all that being said! There are a few services I do recommend but I caution you, unless you are going to purchase the upsells on a few of them don’t bother with it all because using any of them free is absolutely a waste of time…
In my own split testing Viral adstore ranks #1 in effectiveness
Next was List Joe
In my test Viral url was the least effective, however viral url offers some really cool features that the others do not. So I like them for the extra features. When I do email in those list I do get many of my emails opened. The thing is and I am not kidding when I say this. You need to try many different product offers/lead capture pages.
And you really do need to purchase the upsells to even get enough traffic to make it worth it. So if you can afford to purchase the upsells cool it can be another source of traffic for you. If you are unable to purchase them, then I really recommend you don’t bother with them and focus more on just using a blog and social networking.
Network Marketing Blogs – Now You Know
While I slammed Traffic exchanges and Safe list in the article I wrote for Peter I do think they can be effective, but only if you can afford to pay for them. The free versions are totally worthless and it is the free versions that 90% of the people gravitate to. I can honestly tell you that using those services for free and and using them as paid services is like night and day. Duplication is key to success with network marketing. (Most people can’t duplicate this process because it cost more than most folks are willing to gamble.)

Seriously if you want these types of traffic sources to work for you , you are going to have to pay to get them to become effective. For years the people in the “know” already realize most people will not upgrade their accounts. This is why they do not have good results with them. I have sold click bank products, commission junction products, network marketing products and built my personal list using these types of services. However and this is a HUGE however… I always purchase the upsells in all of them. I tried the whole free thing for awhile and never seen any results other than negative. I can’t stress enough that good network marketing blogs really do get a lot of attention from these sources. Just be careful if you are using adsense, it goes against their TOS to get traffic from these types of sources with adsense. Also remember this, just buying 1 isn’t enough, you need to be 3 to 4 if not more. On the flip side, once you purchase these services you have a full year to earn back your money, to date I have always earned back my money plus earned a profit to boot!
The only free methods of marketing that has yielded good results for me have been:
Article marketing
Video Marketing
Blog Seo/ comments
Social networking etc..
It really isn’t a long list, it is only a few things that once you learn how to do you can repeat over and over. What is also good about these free methods is the fact that most of the stuff that you do has sticky power meaning, the effort you put into it today will pay off for years to come.
Paid advertising is great to get your momentum kicking, but if you neglect the quality free methods that are out there, you will be spending thousands of dollars more than you have to. Personally I believe starting network marketing blogs is the best way to market your business online.
