Really Network Marketing Isn’t About Your Business
The secret to success in this industry isn’t finding the right opportunity. It isn’t knowing the best places to advertise or even how to get indexed correctly online. While those things help it isn’t those things that are going to really help your network marketing business the most.  I need you stop what you are doing and really read through this post.
I believe when you are done reading it you are going to know exactly what you have to do in order to have success in your internet network marketing business.  The first pill you are going to have to swallow is the fact that it doesn’t matter what you are selling online.
People really don’t care, what people really care about is how are they going to get paid online. You don’t join a network marketing business because you like the products. You join because you want more time, money and freedom.
How To Get More Time, Money And Freedom From Network Marketing
Now I know right now there are many marketers reading this saying. WHOA!!! Hold on there Spanky, you need to have a good product if you want to make money. You need to be a involved with a business that has staying power. You need to sell a real product. You need to have a xyz compensation plan.
Yes there are many things you should have. HOWEVER, what you really need is to be able to connect with another human being. In the network marketing world there are people who only see you as a number in their downline, they really don’t care if you make it or not. In fact they have a saying… “Some Will, Some Won’t , So What!!! <— Is that the type of person you really want to be? Success in this industry has everything to do with your ability to connect on a personal level with another human.
Network Marketing Isn’t Automated
Ya you heard me right, while you can automate parts of your business, people join people. Trust me you would rather have 5 passionate people working with you, than 100 people who want to automate everything.
Let Me Ask You These Questions: Do you like calling customer service and having a pre-recorded message give you more options to more pre-recorded messages? How about this, do you really like getting phone calls that are pre-recorded messages?
Of course you don’t, nobody does and that is my point. You will only make money in network marketing when you pick up the phone, share your business with your friends, and get those people excited about what you are excited about…. DRUM ROLL******** –> How you found a way to get more Time, Money and freedom….
It is silly easy to get your offline market interested in your business when you ask them to read your blog. If you spend the time to write good articles and get involved with other blogger’s you will be seen as an internet marketing expert in the eyes of your peers.
All network marketing businesses requires that you get people to join the business or buy the product so you can get paid. Preferably they join the business. The reality is all a person has to really do is find a handful of people who will go out and do the same thing. Ya, its that simple if everyone would go out and do their part there would be a lot more people with more time, money and freedom.
PROFIT ON KNOWLEDGE CHALLENGE:
Has your network marketing business hit a dead end? I challenge you to start stepping out of your comfort zone and realize that it only takes a handful of people who have the same vision as you. They say network marketing is a numbers game. It is but don’t think big numbers think small numbers.
Tip: Find a mentor who can teach you how to combine the power of the internet with the power network marketing and learn from them. Do what you have to do to get their attention, show them that you are serious about being successful online. Once you learn all you can from them become the teacher and teach others how to do it… Wash, Rinse, Repeat —> That my friends is real duplication.

Hi Larry! I cannot agree with you more, and I have written many a post to point out that we are still in a relationship business, and relationship building isn’t something to be automated! Certainly there are tools we can use to begin the process, like email lists, or that we can use to extend our warm market, like social media, but in the end, you really can’t get anywhere without following up and finding out what’s in your prospect’s heart!
Great post, keep them coming!
Vicki
Hi Vicki, thanks for visiting my blog. Exactly, in the end its the person to person contact that matters. Once you know what is in your prospects heart you can begin to help them accomplish their goals…
I hear time and again from network marketers that this is a relationship business, and yet they try to sell newcomers on the automated process. Some people come in looking to build relationships and really understand what it’s about. But most come in because they’re sold on being able to hide behind a computer and not have to talk to people, and that they can rely on the automated process of pre-recorded videos, conference calls, emails, etc., so all they have to do is set up a website and then learn how to drive traffic to it.
If that’s the case, they’re in the wrong business. There are ways to automate processes and make money without ever having personal contact with your customers. Frank Kern does this beautifully and with great success. But for network marketers, they have to get up to their elbows in relationships and talking to people.
Ther’es just no other way.
Delena
Hi Delena, Your right Frank Kern doesn’t have too because it is a totally different niche. His niche focuses on teaching people I like to call his niche the guru niche… LOLS
Network marketers need to be more like 1 on 1 personal trainers.. In network marketing building the relationship is what is important…
Thanks for sharing! 🙂
Hi Larry,
Good topic and you said right that we have 5 passionate people working with us rather than 100 people who want to automate everything.
Automated things are not catchy as human work.
Hi Waterpearls,
When I first started marketing online I was taught to automate most stuff. While automating some parts of your business is needed. At the end of the day it’s the human touch that matters.
Thanks for stopping by.
