Network Marketing – Wise Words From A Sage
Recently I listened to a presentation about the network marketing industry by the MLM Legend Mike Dillard. One of my favorite things about internet network marketing is the fact that there really are many great marketers out there sharing some really helpful information.
You just have to know where to look 🙂
In this interview he (Mike Dillard) goes on to say that he had massive success with nothing more than a long sales letter.
That literally sorted through all of his potential prospects and only the highest quality person joined.
Ideally what you want is for your message to resonate with someone else. The more specific you are the better chance you have of getting the right person for you.
Network Marketing – Attraction Marketing In Action
This got me thinking… I actually do that from time to time lols.. Anyways!
First I am a big advocate of you need to create your own unique marketing funnel to be successful. I don’t think I know anyone who uses any company lead capture pages alone that is successful.
It also got me thinking about why some folks seem to get sign ups easily while others struggle day in and day out. We are all exposed to the same information.
It is very important that if anything you understand this one point:
You need to know what your prospect problems are. You need to address those problems. You really need to make your prospect feel like you are talking to them directly.
For instance:
Maybe you have been online for a few months and are feeling overwhelmed with all the information that is being flashed before your eyes.
You are joining every guru’s list on the planet hoping to find that secret golden nugget of information that is going to make all the difference in your business.
You might even be on the verge of throwing in the towel. I am sure you wasted your fair share of money online and probably feel like you have been scammed a few times.
I know your out there because that is exactly how I felt. I went around in circles like a chicken without a head wondering what I should be doing.
Calling all network marketing flunkies!
Don’t feel bad you are in good company. Most people who try network marketing end up failing that is just the fact. Fortunately for you a big reason why so many people fail is because they weren’t probably taught the essential lessons they needed to be successful.
There are probably a couple of reasons for that.
1. They probably were recruited by someone who had very little internet network marketing skill.
2. They fell for the hype and when it came down to getting their hands dirty they weren’t mentally prepared for it.
I said fortunately because all it takes to change the stats in your favor is to be mentored by someone who has been down that road before.
If your ready to start seeing positive results in your business you owe it to yourself to do the next logical thing which is to opt into my autoresponder and see if I have something that can help you 🙂
Oh! and don’t worry you can easily unsubscribe if you don’t like what I am saying.. But I think you will!
Thanks for sharing this post I see so many uplines who sign people up into their businesses & leave them hanging because their unable to duplicate what they’ve done. Recruit & Run Off!
I personally believe that if you want to have success with network marketing, it’s not about collecting millions of email addresses and having people who subscribe to you without really being interested in what you sell and promote. You would rather have only 10 people who genuinely contribute to your business.
Hi Pam thanks for stopping by and commenting. I sorta agree with that. When you are building a network marketing business online you have to also sell affiliate products. Successful internet network marketers realize how important it is to make an income while they are building there primary network marketing business.
This is why we use funded proposals.
Hi Larry,
I think you’re right I personally subscribed many online marketers but they’re just useless as they got only limited knowledge and skills. Now I’m subscribing your list in hope to get best.
Thanks Aaron, thanks for the leap of faith 🙂
Hi, Larry!
A massive success with nothing more than a long sales letter? I wish I could do that…guess that sometimes you also need to be lucky and not just productive. It is of essential importance to know how to make income and yet, many fail easily as they do not know how to target their prospects.
Hi Kristina, one reason for that is because many people end up working with folks who don’t really know what they are doing.
You first have to know yourself and what you are looking for. You then need to be able to put into words exactly what you are looking for.
Tip: A really good way to find out who you should be targeting is through blogging. As you get better at blogging and more people comment on your blog the better idea you will have on who you should be targeting and what you should be saying..
Personally, I believe you also need lots of luck and have the gift of gab. I even find it difficult to market to my own friends on Twitter and they are not just people I met online but are actually relatives, schoolmates and co-workers. My best friend was very successful with that MLM scheme. She was able to convince her co-workers to invest or buy the products but so far she was the only one who was able to profit from it, I don’t about her other recruits. Just saying …
As with everything else in this world Network Marketing can be learned and with due practice one can be a pro. All you need is a whole lot of patience, discipline and a good mentor.
I really like the way you re-purposed your content in this post. Any time I can play audio or a video in the the background while I’m working is great. I hope you continue with this format.
Thanks
Hey Dave, I thought you would 🙂
My best friend was very successful with that MLM scheme. She was able to convince her co-workers to invest or buy the products but so far she was the only one who was able to profit from it, I don’t about her other recruits.
Hi Karen, thanks for stopping by and commenting..
Firstly, I don’t like the phrase “MLM Scheme” it’s negative sounding and implies that what we do is dirty and cheap.
Your co-worker made the same mistake that thousands of others have. Whilst it is important to have actual customers using your network marketing products.
As far as business building is concerned, you need to network with other business builders.
In many cases you won’t find them in your back yard.
Good information and nice video both are together in one place, really enjoyed this page
“You just have to know where to look” I liked that! I think that all you write about (incl comments) should be newly updated and relevant- thus useful for the readers:)
Thanks Anna!
Your right, you should always write with your readers in mind.
I am agree in this that reasons which you have mentioned is mostly true and responsible for the failure in this market.
Anyway thanks a lot for this important sharing which proves helpful for us.
