Network Marketing – It’s all about team work baby!

When I first got involved with the network marketing industry I was under the impression that if I joined the right person everything would come together and flow nicely. I looked high and low for just the right person to join. Everyone I joined unfortunately always told me the same crap! Was I missing something I wondered? How is it that these people are so successful but regardless of what I try I always end up on the short end of the string. I mean seriously it was getting pretty goofy there for awhile.
Imagine if you brought in 20 people a month for about 6 months straights and at the end of the road you look back and nobody did anything at all to further their business other than gripe and complain that they aren’t making any money. Obviously I was missing a huge piece of the puzzle and for the life of me I couldn’t figure out what it was.
Network Marketing – Slowly The Puzzle Started Coming Together
In theory network marketing is a great way to earn a living, the problem is because over the years it has gotten a bad reputation many people are skeptical if it works or not. Most folks while interested in earning money online tend to have a hard time wrapping their heads around what network marketing is all about. I can tell you for sure it has nothing to do with the actual businesses. At first I thought it did. I looked for businesses that resonated with my very core. But the most successful people in this industry do not focus on the products. Rather they focus on the DREAM.

It is true you need a good product to sell if you want people to buy the product. Offline network marketing requires that you find customers who are happy to use the product and would love to tell everyone including their mothers about it. Online though is a totally different animal all together. We online marketers just want to get paid lols. It’s true and that is why so many people talk about how great the compensation plan is with the businesses they are involved with.
In my opinion the best online network marketing businesses are practical ones. It is important to understand that the road to the top is the same for everyone. It really is one size fits all.
- You need a business card –> Lead Capture page, opt in box
- You need a place of business –> Your blog
The only other thing you need is knowledge. You need to know how to get boatloads of traffic and you need to understand what people are really looking for online. What it really takes to make money in the internet network marketing industry is convincing someone else to pull out their credit card and join.
Learn how to become the hunted and not the hunter. That my friends is the secret to earning online. This is still one of the best ebooks on the subject of how to become the hunted and not the hunter. I wish I wrote it myself because when I read it I had a huge ah ha moment in my life. That was several years ago but the information is still just as powerful today as it was than. Network Marketing is a powerful way to earn online.

Good content here Larry. Joining the right person is important but obviously they do not ultimately determine your success.
Hi Todd, thanks for stopping by. You are right we only achieve success based on our own actions..
Awesome article as usual! “all roads CAN lead home”, you just have to make sure you take the right paths to get there and succeed!
HI Bob, thanks for stopping by !
Personal Franchising is what I poured myself into when I was laid off.
Represent a company as an independent agent, earn commissions.
Simple!

Hi Mandura, thanks for stopping by my blog
In social media particularly video marketing can also be very effective. Millions of Internet users look at videos every day. A short video about your services and products can reach millions of potential customers.
Wouldn’t it be great if you could get a team of go getters that would all work together in their efforts of securing financial freedom. The reality is that it’s hard enough to find just one.
What would make it a lot easier is finding the right product to sell. The only problem is the Net is full of crap, most of it claiming to show you how to make money but not really telling anything worthwhile.
The successes that I’ve had online is through products that I believe in, that I’ve tried and work. Now all I need to do is finding others who need those products and willing to take out the plastic 😉
Hi Sire, thanks for stopping by. It helps a lot to find a products you believe in. I think most peoples problems online is they try and sell products just to make money without actually liking the products they are selling.
And yes I agree 100% the amount of garbage out there is staggering!
Great post, thanks for sharing it with us. Totally agree!
Hi Jessa, thanks for stopping by I look forward to reading your blog.
Some interesting points here, both in the article and in comments. My company runs an online affiliate program with a very high commission payout, and I can tell you from experience that people get out of it what they put into it. Most people who sign on with us are hoping to make mad money with sub-par sites that they’ve put almost no effort into setting up. It’s the rare few who develop really good, informative sites that rack up the money – because they create something that visitors can actually *use* before they open up their wallets.
Hi Andy, thanks for stopping by my blog!
How true Larry!
Guess what I got from a Lady who joined a program with me after just 1-2 days:
“…I registered a couple of days ago and I don’t see any progress with my account. I have sent out text ads but have had no referrals yet. Why is there no spillover during the cycle…”
I often feel that I am working alone for my entire team which is fine but…
It’s really hard to find self driven team mates – who really want to make it happen.
What I will try to do is offering them tools like the List Building Tool I recently found (I hope you don’t mind…): BigListPro http://thenpn.com/at/?id=39050
Hi Stefan, I will let keep your link since you asked me on skype about it.
Thanks for sharing your story, that is an example of an all to typical scenario online. That is why it is extremely important you attract the right type of people to your business in the first place.
I made the mistake for years attracting the wrong type of people, it was because I was trying to be too nice and got taken advantage of.
I agree with you Larry, it is important to like what what we sell. If we are not passionate about our works we cannot go too far but most do not look that way. Making money is important but being more interested in what we are selling always leads us to greater success.
