The basic layout for Keyword Rich Content
When it comes to writing a blog post a question always comes up that goes like this: Is it important to use keywords in all of your blog post? For new bloggers the question is YES you really do need to use your keywords in all of your blog post, at least when you first start writing in your blog. After you have a regular readership you can write in your own unique style and not worry so much about having keyword rich content.
But until you have a blog following you absolutely need to write for search engines. Yes it is a bit more difficult when you are trying to add your keywords in your post but it’s what sites like google want to see. So you have to use keyword rich content in your blog post.

In this video tutorial I show you how to set up your blog post so that the search engines see it as keyword rich content.
Keyword Rich Content – What Keywords Should I Use?
I am only going to touch on this subject in this post. But I will give a longer answer in next weeks newbie questions answered. The short answer is this. You really can’t just use any ole word you want as a keyword. I use to do that thinking “as long as I just use _____ over and over I will get ranked for it”.
It doesn’t actually work that way. You really need to do research and figure out what people in your niche market are really searching for. Whatever those words happens to be are the keywords you should build your blog around. Don’t start a blog about dogs and start talking about high powered rifles. Keep all of your keywords and keyword phrases related.

Good post Larry and I definitely agree although I myself have fallen down on the job from time to time. I guess some posts I do use keywords while others I don’t, it depends on what I’m writing about. But with my main blog it’s been around for a few years now so I guess I’m in the clear. I do have a new one though so will be sure to keep these points in mind for my posts from this day forward.
Thanks for the refresher course. I guess we all need it from time to time.
Adrienne
Hi Adrienne, thanks for commenting.
I purposely don’t focus on keywords on my other blog because I wanted to write more freely. It feels good to be able to say things the way you feel rather than making sure you are using your keywords.
For new bloggers though, keywords are essential to start establishing seo ranking.
It is important to focus on the keywords you want to use on the content of your blog. This way your blog will get the proper exposure in order for more people to get what they need to find online.
Excellent video tutorial for new bloggers, this is good to start with but just have to make sure they don’t over-do it, which will not only affect their content but also their SEO campaign. New bloggers might just get confused when it comes to keeping keyword densities in mind.
Hi Larry
Thanks for your interesting post. As a newbie of a couple sites so far, I have been trying to keep the keyword sprinkled over my content, but often is difficult to meet the suggested keyword density (I usually have about 1.5%, but is hard to get 3 or 4%). But like you pointed out, it is so important for SEO. I think it is helpful to have a tool like EasyWP SEO, or similar, which reminds you of the stuff like italics, underlines, etc, and measures keyword density – kind of does the keyword accounting for you. Your video just reminded me about internal links – thanks for the tip.
Cheers,
Bill
Great post – keywords should be relevant what your write anyway – you should just use the most commonly used variations, rather than other obscure terms. Just be wary of repetition – that’s one thing I always look out for.
Very useful video!!
To share my experience, I usually write 4-5 pillar post with a strong in-page SEO, and then a wrote various article, regarding my niche but without taking care of keywords too much and try to linking my articles each other
Keywords that must be included to our content are our targeted keywords. The keyword we wanted to rank. But I guess keyword research is first needed before incorporating keyword to our content! Keywords variations to our content is also very important. Good tutorial video too.. Thanks for sharing.
Exactly, keywords seems to be the heart of entire SEO and even when it comes to internet marketing. If you select wrong keywords than your entire efforts will be futile. I make use of Google keyword tool, Google insight and google trends to discover most paying keywords and accordingly optimize my blog site.
Hey Larry, thanks for great video sharing and the right direction on keyword rich content. I think we’ve to know more about recent algorithm for better activity on IM, It really help me a lot.
thanks really this is the way to select the keywords for blog. I have done by the help of this site.
That’s a good tutorial. The creation of a Website that contains many of the words that qualify as keywords is not that difficult. A Website that is full of a particular keyword earns a high ranking in any list of related articles. However, a Website with a lot of keywords does not always motivate an Internet surfer to look long and hard at that particular Website. To achieve that, one must learn how to write a keyword rich article.
