I was on the phone the other night till 12 am last night talking to a prospect.
….I listened patiently to his story, it was very similar to how I was doing my business in the past.
Something in me has changed though.
….It has taken me years to figure it out.
I finally started valuing my time more I have some answers for you to use in your own marketing and prospecting if these questions should come up.
Q. Why can’t I learn stuff and start making money then pay for it?
A. As a marketer YOU need to be paid for your services.
….Do you want to spend hours working for free?
Of course not!
That is why you are doing what you are doing to begin with. When a person shoots that question out to you. Ask them if they would be willing to work for free? You may have to spend 4 hours with a person before they join your business.
Q. Why Can’t I Start Small And See How It Goes?
A. Your time is very valuable and I am guessing you also want to make decent money. Do you open up a store and buy potato chips and after you sell enough potato chips you buy soda then after you sell enough soda you add some candy bars? Of course you don’t, you need your store stocked the minute you open the doors.. That is the way business is done.
Q. Does this really work or is another one of those get rich quick schemes?
A. No this is not a get rich quick scheme everything in life takes work. There is no such thing as get rich quick,
….And yes this really works!
(If you gotten as far as talking to your prospect obviously the method of lead generation you are using works).
From there it comes down to your ability to connect with the person and make the sale. While it is true that you can make money without talking to the person, you will make more money if you do talk them. That is the key to Direct Sales. That is also the key to internet network marketing.

It’s common nowadays to see get rich quick scheme anywhere so I find this as the best choice if we really want to own a business we can keep for the rest of our lives. Something where we invest lots of our time and money for a long term benefit.
Hi Mary, it is well worth it to invest in your education and future..
Thanks for stopping by and commenting..
Yup! Educating ourselves in any means can really change our future. It has always been the best investment we can give for ourselves.
It’s true,
So often people look for a quick fix to their problems. They get blinded by that. Getting educated is the best thing to do if you are newbie marketer.
That’s why I teach that the most important thing you can do for your business is increase your value.
The easiest way to do that is increase your knowledge.. 🙂
It makes lots of sense, especially the example with the shop that sells chips, sodas and candy bars. I’m so glad I have arguments for any objections may appear from others. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!
Thanks for commenting Elena,
I thought sharing this would be helpful to some. Especially if they are actively promoting their business and running into these types of objections..
If is too good to be true, you better avoid it. There are no such thing as get quick rich schemes or shortcuts. You have to pave your own path and never expect handouts.
Hi Steve truer words were never spoken. Thanks for stopping by and commenting..
There are always going to be objections. The person who joins because he likes your presentation, and joins without any objections will rarely be a good marketer. Handling objections is a vital skill. Thanks for the help in addressing this key component of business building.
My pleasure David,

It is required to get over people’s objection. Time is money. You cannot spend your valuable time on works that pays you nothing. Get rich schemes will not work. Slow and steady wins the race. Thank you for posting useful information.
Hi Jane thanks for commenting..
I would have to disagree with you a bit. I don’t believe slow and steady wins the race. I believe the slower you go the less likely you will create momentum in your life.
Massive actions = Massive Results.. That is exactly what a person needs to really thrive online.
Tho I do agree… Buying into a get rick quick schemes is a sure way to go broke. The only way to earn money online is to get a good education and apply the knowledge that you learn to your marketing..
Yeah, people need to understand that online marketing takes a lot of hard work and effort… it’s not just sitting on the computer looking at Facebook and hoping that someone searches for your page! I think this article really tells it like it is, and I appreciate that. Thanks for posting!
Hi Paul thanks for stopping by and commenting.

Hi Larry,
You might read the story of rabbit and tortoise. The slow won, the race it means we should not look for getting rich quick schemes and invest our time and money on right direction. Nobody get rich quick except those who win lotteries.
Hi Pete!
You might read the story of the Frog and the centipede 🙂
Sometimes we are so cautious that we miss the opportunity. We get stuck thinking about what to do next..
…Paralysis by Analysis
Thanks for answering those questions so well. Time IS money, and while I work, this has become so more evident. And while I didn’t really believe it to be possible, it’s kinda sad to know for sure that get-rich-quick schemes really don’t work. But hey, working for it just makes success all the sweeter! This advice is true, and I love your metaphors. All was well written and funny 🙂 Thanks
Thanks Elena Anne,

As time has gone by with web marketing, it has become clear to me that patience is the biggest factor. And it allows you to make better decisions, to boot!
Yes patience is very important.
…So Not being a deer in headlights 🙂
I think it would be probably go easy when i always calm down and take the objection as a compliment.

I usually let your comments stick even though sometimes they are hard to understand. I just appreciate your support 🙂
Hi larry,
Thanks for sharing, I am a newbie and I confess that the most difficult thing for me is to communicate with potential customers, let alone influence them. It is difficult but not most difficult.
