WordPress Help – Newbie Questions Answered Part 1
It has come to my attention that there are a zillion newbie questions out there that are begging to be answered. I recently asked a member in my downline to send me her questions and I would start to answer them for her. As I started reading her questions I realized that there is a good chance that there are a lot of people out there who maybe are to shy to ask some of these questions.
It is my plan to answer as many questions as I can about marketing online , no matter how silly they may sound. Because honestly I have had some pretty silly questions myself that I didn’t want to ask because I didn’t want to sound foolish. So every Friday I am going to do what I can to start answering these questions , I invite you to send me your newbie questions, I will try and answer them for you in video.

WordPress Help – Insite To WordPress Blogging (Part 1)

Hi LARRY RIVERA,
I am a blogger who runs most of his blogs on Blogger platform for the simplicity of it but I also has a free blog on WordPress platform just to learn it. I also have written some posts on it. It is very difficult for me to add widgets on it and my WordPress blog is also less popular in search engines than Blogger blog, why?

WordPress isn’t worth using unless you are using a self – hosted version of wordpress so that you can unlock some of the more useful features.
As far as search engines rankings, I can only fathom that you aren’t ranking well because you haven’t back linked well or your seo work is off. It doesn’t help that you are using the free version of wordpress. I have used both the free versions of blogger and wordpress. At the end of the day I decided that the only route to go is to self – host the blog myself. Which I highly recommend anyone serious about blogging use. Thank you for stopping by and leaving a comment.
I agree.
WordPress.com free blogs are good to learn, but waste of time and effort, in my opinion.
Though recently they allow people to use premium themes, but what for?
They are not allowed to put some ads or affiliate marketing, no use using premium themes, if we don’t earn from our blogs lol..
I vote for wordpress over other blogging softwares, though the frequent updates scare me sometimes :/
Hi Kimi, thanks for stopping by. I agree with you, what is the point of using a premium theme on the free wordpress. If you are going to go through the effort to use a paid theme, you may as well self -host it also.
Thanks for sharing
