Well I guess that’s it everyone knows the world is ending Dec 21 2012. There is no point in continuing to do anything is there? Forget making money online, hell forget about paying your bills you may as well run around causing chaos and anarchy right?
Okay all joking aside even if the end of the world was coming, I would continue to do exactly what I am doing right now. Why? Because I live in the moment, this moment. All that I can focus on is what I am doing right this very minute. I don’t have time in my life to worry about what is going to happen next year or next week for that matter.
What I do know is that many of you are sitting on the sidelines of life waiting for the right moment to get motivated to do well anything..
Let’s say for a moment the world is going to end Dec 21 2012. Are you going to just sit around thinking how unfair life is? Or are you going to make the last months of your life really count.Β I mean what is the point of living if all that you do is worry about if the lights are turned on or off in your house.
Poverty really makes my stomach turn. People who are poor in in health, mind and spirit always seem to struggle always seem to have bad attitudes like the world should say sorry to them.
The reality is some of the financially poorest people in the world are among the happiest people in the world. The reality is some of the richest people in the world were at one point part of the poorest people in the world.
Sure some people were born with a silver spoon in hand. Okay after that last statement I couldn’t resist I have to share this song with you π
I want you to look back at the past 10 years of your life. I want you to stop throwing a pity party for yourself.Β Let’s say the world is going to endΒ Dec 21 2012 do you really want to spend your last precious months on this planet worrying about events that you can not change?
Personally I don’t think the world is going to end on Dec 21 2012. But I do know one day my world will end as will everyone’s .Β We all share the same fate. We all one day will take our last breath.Β It’s how we live our lives moment to moment that matters..
I friend of mine shared this video on his blog, I liked it and thought it was appropriate for this post.

When my time comes I want to know I’ve made not a good accounting of my time in this world, but the best that I possibly could.
Some days I fail miserably at that goal.
Yet other days I hit it out of the park.
Then there are the days I barely make it by.
Yesterday doesn’t matter, tomorrow may never come, all we really have is today.
So make today count.
You said it buddy! π
Larry, I know we both know some people that are so concerned about the world ending ‘soon’… And while things are speeding up and Revelation is being filled faster and faster…. We have to know He works on His time clock not ours. We also know the world is not going to end, but things are surely going to shift/change.
So why worry? If we believe in Him and we believe in His promises, we know whatever happens we are going to be taken care of, even if it is our time to depart from this life.
It really is ridiculous to allow fear and worry to make us mediocre. That’s right, those sitting around making the excuse, “Well, the world is going to end soon, so why bother starting a business, why bother trying any harder than I am now, etc.” are mediocre!
They must not know we each have a destiny, they must not know He has great plans for us, they must not know they can and will do greater things than He if they choose to… They must not know He never designed any one to be mediocre.
So instead of insulting my Creator and His promises, I am going to trust in Him and do my best to improve my life each day. To fight mediocrity, to honor Him, to become who He created me to be.
Each day is a privilege and a gift… Treat it like one.
Hi Jamie, fear is the biggest reason why people miss out on really incredible experiences. Fear can cripple you in so many subtle ways that I think people don’t actually realize the impact it has in their life.
I agree I think it’s a bad idea to insult the creator π
Hi Larry…
I want to say something funny concern to this i.e. 2012 -(Judgement day).
Don’t know who the great one who have spread this rumour that 2012 is our last year of life but due to this I have seen many positive effect of it.
Many know that this just a fake and nothing will going to happen but this fear of END of life and world make all understand the REAL MEANING of life and taught the way HOW to LIVE it happily till end…lol…including my family too..lol..
Anyway thanks a lot for this
I agree.. I think money fuels the fear π
The date is pretty accurate huh? Dec 21, 2012! π I agree with your observation that poorest people are not often the saddest. They are quite happy with what they have. But certain so called rich people are always sad because no amount of money can satisfy them!
Hi Raj, thanks for stopping by commenting… Happy New Years, thanks for reading π

Man, thanks for including that Creedence song, it’s and oldie but definitely a goodie π
As for the end of the world, there’s have been so many of these doomsayer predictions and to date not one of them has come true and this is just going to be like all the rest of them.
Even if it was true I would still live my life the way I always have, doing the best I can with what I have and trying to inspire others to do the same.
Ya it is an oldie right.. That must mean I am also getting older! DOH!!
Thanks for stopping by Sire have a happy New Year π
I totally agree with David, when the world, as we know it, comes to an end ,
I wanne make sure I did my best, I went beyond and above, I gave it all, I lived my life fully, and most of all, I did all this trusting the creator π
Feels good to be able to leave comments on you blog now that you’ve fixed the plugin π

Hi Mark, thanks for stopping by and commenting.. I wish you a happy new start π
When I’d first heard about the Mayan Doomsday, I was freaked out but I’m much more indifferent to it now. But I definitely agree about living in the moment. Mistakes are made but learning from them for averting future mistakes is more important than regretting the past tense. Always best to think about how the future can be better by improvising the present.

yeah, i agree with you, Larry. It is today, the moment we are still living, that matter most, why worry about the things that havent come (or may never come?!). As long as i live, i will still keep blogging.
But say, if all of us died in such in a same day, would there be enough place for us in the heaven??
What might happen or might not is one concern but I think more important point should be how well prepared are we for any regular disaster?
This topic has become very “near and dear” to me and I’m surprised to discover how many people don’t take even basic steps to protect their family.
