Deep Down In Dark Places
I was just thinking today where I have been in my life and where I am going. My mind drifted to my early years. Looking back on things I can see how my past effected my life negatively for years.
I can’t say I was physically abused growing up, but I struggled with Fear, Doubt, low self – esteem.
Maybe some of you can identify with that?
Those negative factors caused me to go through life always second guessing myself. The irony is that most times if I would have just listened to my initial feelings I would of probably picked the right thing to do. From these experiences I always think of this quote.
I’d rather regret the things I’ve done than regret the things I haven’t done.
– Lucille Ball
Clawing My Way Inch By Inch Out Of The Dam Hole I dug For Myself
I understand what it feels like to look in the mirror and not like what you see. I tried so hard to get past my flaws. Unfortunately every time I thought I was getting somewhere in my life there was always someone in the shadows waiting to rip me apart.
I thought these people were my friends, but looking back I realized that those people really weren’t my friends. When people who call themselves your friend rip apart your dreams and your hopes. Those people aren’t your friends. They are actually part of your problem.
The first step in clawing your way out of your own self – created hell is to face your fears. The second step is trust your inner wisdom. I call it that because somewhere deep inside your soul you know the truth. There is an amazing person just waiting to come out.
Getting Rid Of The Dead Weight That Has Been Holding You Down
The one thing I would like to impart to you in this post is that friends can come and go. The people that love you will support you in everything that you do. If you find yourself hiding what you do or you feel ashamed about what you do, that is a good indication that the people in your sphere are not supportive people.
It’s okay to have crazy ideas. Most successful entrepreneurs at one time or another had crazy ideas. If every creative spirit listened to the people around them our lives wouldn’t be as enriched as they are, imagine all the inventions that would never been invented.
I encourage you to live your dreams, to believe that whatever it is you are dreaming about is possible. Do surround yourself with like minded people. Trust me they are out there you just need to look for them.
The best way in my opinion is to start blogging 🙂 and let them find you…
