Desperate Times Call For Desperate Actions!
[contextly_sidebar id=”04c2af138f721d86ba284329f24e87fb”]I have a confession to make, I love blogging. Sometimes though, I feel like I dug myself in a hole on this blog. Because I wanted to go for the keyword phrase internet network marketing I have been hesitant to talk about things that aren’t on topic.
A part of me though knows that at the heart of blogging it’s about expressing yourself and connecting with your readers. I know many of you are like me. Your parents, your business owners and seekers of truth.
Kids Will Do Almost Anything To Get What They Want
I wasn’t going to share this with you as it’s sorta of private. My daughter would probably kill me. However, It serves a point for today’s blog post. Here is how this video came about. I was sitting in my living room and my daughter wanted some donuts. She kept asking me and asking me I kept saying NO! I said to her what my mother use to say to me when I kept nagging her about something. I said
What do you think money grows on trees?
She paused for a moment and said….
Well daddy if I can help you make money can will you buy me donuts?
I finally broke down and said sure. With that she grabbed my Iphone that was sitting on the table and ran out the door. When she came back in, what I saw was cute, hilarious and also made me realize something I will share with you after you watch the video….
Don’t read this until you watch the video it’s important that you watch it, besides it’s not that long.
What I realized after watching this video is that online marketing has really been a big part of my life. What I found interesting with this video is although I hardly ever talk to my daughter much about what I do online. She new enough to use a call to action.
I wasn’t even aware that she knew that I had a site called profit on knowledge. Kids really do pay attention to things even if you don’t think they are. I also realized that I have been successful online because my family has always supported me in my decisions even when they seem kind of far fetched.
This video also reminded me of my why. I remember sitting my Anna’s crib when she was a baby 10 years ago and thinking dear god, please help raise this child. I remember praying lord I don’t know how I am going to do it, I am trusting in your to provide the way.
With that simple little prayer I have been financially blessed, my girls are healthy happy girls. I am beyond thankful for all that I have. I have been blessed to have literally been able to be at home with my family for the past 10 years.
I have watched my girls talk for the first time, walk for the first time, I pick them up when they fall, I am there to hug them when they are sad.
How Strong Is Your Why Really?
If it’s not keeping you awake at night it’s not strong enough. If it’s not making you work harder than you have ever worked in your entire life it’s not strong enough. Your why is your most powerful asset.
It will pull you to the finish line when nothing else can.
How strong is your why?
