Ya This Post Isn’t going to have any SEO Qualities

Alright so I been blogging here at profitonknowledge since 2006. Since that time technology has changed of course. With all the changes I had to weather all technical difficulties that come with having a internet network marketing blog. I am high school drop out. To be honest I have no frigging idea how things like mysql databases work. Sure I know how to create them and install wordpress, but that’s easy stuff.
Migrating mysqls, and moving stuff is beyond my technical scope, sadly…
The Good And The Bad
Last night you may have noticed that *all my sites where shut down, I do mean all my sites. I was getting IP_address_127.0.0.1_ on all my sites.
Like I know what that means? The answer I found is this: 127.0.0.1 is a special IP address used to ‘loopback’ or to talk to your own computer. Anything that is addressed to 127.0.0.1 never leaves your computer, but can be used to test services that are running on your own computer.
That’s also something hosting companies do when you use to many resources on a shared hosting plan. It also happens when someone maliciously attacks your system. In my case last night I got 42,000 hits on my site So my hosting company shut down my sites to keep me from causing all the websites on my shared hosting plan from crashing..
I actually average close to 200,000 sometimes more raw hits to my site(s) every month. ===> Most of it free traffic btw 🙂
Not bad for a high school drop out if I do say so myself. So here is my issue. I am having so much success marketing on the internet that I have to migrate all my sites over to my own dedicated hosting service.
Here’s the problem:
I never done that before, I don’t have an issue paying for it, I have an issue migrating my mysql databases for all my sites to a new server. My last real run in with mysql databases, backing them up and then uploading caused me to loose about 3 years of blog post all the comments and even some files.. All in all, I ugraded my mysql but it was a nightmare and that was only 1 database on 1 blog.
In order for me to speed my sites up and have no more issues, I have to migrate 9 sites 5 of which I will have to migrate asap!
Because I really have no technical knowledge on how to do this it’s going to take me time to figure out all the implications of moving all my sites to a dedicated server. Ironically I am only having these problems because I am successfully marketing my business.
But it brings up the fact that in Empower Network you don’t have to worry about all these headaches. All that you have to worry about is getting in there and following the step by step plan and make money. No technical problems.
If you wanna know the real secret to how I am putting people into my business without talking on the phone, chasing people around and without a huge budget or a huge list.. Watch This video to learn the secret.

Hi Bhushan, I do Tai Chi that takes away a lot of the stress that is caused by your environment. It’s important to realize that these things happen , though it can be rather annoying…
Hi Larry,
Ye i have notice that error when i am trying to comment last night. And now its working fine.Although we don’t have to really know about the MySQL or databases but yes the problem regarding the server can be managed just by a call to our service provider. It easy to do it but makes a tense environment as we cannot tell that when the site is going to work properly.
Hi Aditya, It stinks when you things happen that’s out of your control. It looks like I am going to have to migrate all my stuff over to a dedicated host.. Since I am going to traverse in unknown waters.
I like to think of murphey’s law.. Watch and see, I am hoping I will get everything migrated smoothly over the next few days.. But I wouldn’t be surprised if things go wrong.
…I’ll just roll with the punches 🙂
It may happen to everybody Larry,A couple of days ago my website is having same problem and i have to shift all my services to another server. Two days my site was not working and with no reason why???
But hopefully my data is all secure.Yours too will be fine Just cross your fingers 🙂 Good luck with that.
Hey Aditya, we do have to go through some hoops don’t we.
This site will be done in a few days while I migrate to a dedicated host.. But I’ll be back up soon for sure.
Hi Larry- thanks for this post. It gets to the source of what I think is many people’s problem, the fear of jumping in. No matter what your career may be, you’re not going to know everything. Sometimes you have to learn by doing and it will eventually come to you, even better so if you don’t focus on the stress that may come with it.
Hi Robert, I couldn’t of said it better myself 🙂
Thanks for dropping in!
Hey, Larry! This is unbelievable! The hosting company just shut it down without further notice? You should consider changing your provider. It’s not normal the way they treat their clients 🙁
Hey Cristian, how ya doing buddy?
You know, you do have a point. Though it only happened because my traffic started to spike to hard and they were worried about the other sites on the shared hosting plan..
All is good now, I am in the process of migrating all my sites to very own shiny dedicated host.. This site should see faster load times..
I just hope I don’t wipe out my sql databases (gulp)
…Wish me luck!
I know exactly what you’re going through, Larry. It happened to one of my projects too, but the hosting company emailed me and offered a better solution, they didn’t shut off my website! I’ve told them I don’t have the money until September (it happened last summer), but they understood and they cut me some slack. That’s why I’ve told you to find another provider.
Good luck!
Ah they turned me back on after I bitched at them. Now I have all my myqsl databases migrated over.. The reason it was just easier to suck it up is because I have 15 websites that make up my network. It would have really been a nightmare if I had to migrate all of them.
This way I didn’t loose any real down time.. Now I am thinking it’s time to put on a new theme for this site..
🙂
Thanks for this post,Larry. Success sometimes gets into you and start taking its toll. I hope you don’t that shutdown problem again. Good luck 🙂
